Try to not changing anything but governor to pegasusq and set CPU to 1700. With these settings and @venkat kamesh rom I experience great battery life.
Oh, tough question. I can recommend Intelliactive and ROW with Intelliplug or MP-Decision (depends on which one you prefer)..

ThaxxorX could you please a stable version of your kernel based on 2.9 make.
2.9EX best running on Stock Rome and Dstriker 5.0. only thing missing kernel Ram Disc .157 for OTA update and TWRP first recovery.
In connection with kernel auditor it would probably be the best kernel to time for the Z1
2days battery life under normal use with DT2W

Was on locked bootloader and rooted with dual recoveries installed.. Used Philz touch to backup nandroid and clear the three things; later on installing the zip through philz again.. on 4.4.4

You can't install custom kernel on locked bootloader.

Now if I want to use Tap to wake or Sweep to wake without bootloader unlocking, then what should I do? I want tap to wake nothing else is important
The phone is back to normal now.. Nandroid backup helped a lot after i flashed the kernel 157 to stock back!

The trinity is the best rom for z1 with a lot of big guys behind it.. but its out dated and lack some huge upgrades

yeah I know that...but it may take a month from now on to the lollipop release but there are lots of features like multirom,color control and etc that are useful . and many people wont instantly update to lollipop 'cause it may not be stable and so on...
There was official tweet from sony mobile that z1 is getting lollipop update on next week, which means may be this week we will get update.
