I was trying out this kernel, and I had some interesting findings.

If you like to play heavy games like MC5 that even with DVFS disabled still make the phone overheat too much, thus making the framerate drop, you may be interested in trying this:

Overclock your GPU to the max value, then underclock the A57 cluster to 1.4 GHz. You should have the same smoothness you get at higher CPU clock but with less heating, so you'll be able to play smoother for more extended time. Apparently some Gameloft games are very heavy on the GPU but not so much on the CPU (possibly because the're just rough iPhone ports lol).

If you wanna reduce overheating even more you can then try to undervolt first of all the GPU: I suggest keeping the frequencies below 700 a bit closer to stock (3-5 steps closer maybe), so you can go ham on 700 and above (where it makes the most difference under load) without losing stability.
Undervolting A57 really is up to you, but I guess it won't hurt, since in most case there's really a lot of headroom there. Just make sure your GPU voltages are stable before you start playing around with it, otherwise you won't be able to tell wether the it's the CPU or the GPU that's acting up.

Not gonna post my voltages here because how far you can go really is device dependant, all you need is some patience to go through some trial and error, but you should be able to acquire good and steady performance without wasting too much time.

Obviously thanks and big props to the OP for the the great tweakability options provided in the kernel, without those none of this fine tuning would be possible.

This is really interesting. Thank you i wanna try out this kernel but there is not much ahead for marshmallow to come. And i am on back to note.

Getting some random reboots with this kernel. Don't know what it is. Will investigate some more
I am on version 7. Had no problem with V6.1

Update:
Keeps rebooting. Already 4 times this morning :(
Same issue here with v7, with v6.1 had no issues with random reboots.

Can you give me the user reboots please say exactly how were their settings in the kernel?

Stock settings on both kernels v6.1 and v7.
