This kernel is not compatible with back to note rom. only arter kernel is compatible ! you cant flash another kernel with this rom. or i dont know any other kernel that runs with it. In german Forums the dev of hacker kernel said he wont add back to note rom support

but people, why you dont read the terms before installing a rom *facepalm*

Ok its easy just start from the beginning so just backup ur data's then full clean full wipes then flash rom ditto + hacker kernel then its will booted ...

Some xda users are really getting me tired of such questions. I also cba to answer your question, because id then give you a fish for a day, while you can have it everyday by learning to fish.

So my hint is use the quick search function in this thread, ill give you the keyword to find your answer: "arter"

and i did not reply to you, ive you had read this thread you should know some people asked for note rom before. And i know from german forum "Android Hilfe" that thehacker wont add back to note rom support

To support backtonot3 hacker911 needs to add note5 kernel support. Which is only used for one rom? There is nothing stopping you grabbing hackers source from his recovery and trying to add support for it yourself. Kernel coding is not for the faint hearted.

*edit* I dont think the other note port 'ditto' requires a note5 based kernel.
*removed reference to f2fs since i thought b2not3 used it...

You can flash the kernel on all s6 variants but only G920F and G925F is tested.
With V8 comes 2 version of the kernel. A version with Sound Mod and a version without Soundmod. But i make not a Kernel for Note 5 or Edge +.

@thehacker911 - any plans to add AndreiLux's sound mods? They're really good!

The Sound Mod exists since V3 in kernel You can control it with Synapse.
