Don't forget to keep on your promise to keep it as simple as possible though ;)

duh then it is not kernel, its rom related ..

Yeah but those are some pretty common used things, so ill add them.
Im in doubt whether or not I should patch the kernel to .59 or leave it at the stock .9. Let me know what you guys think!
just leave .9. not necessary to patch until .59. i did patched my kernel to .38 bcoz of BFS Scheduling, otherwise i will not patch it

Just hear me out...god i post this countless time...when i use cm9 with their kernal i have that problem...then i use ur kernal the ics 7.431 the problem is gone...because of the 431 kernal is not compatible with cm9 the phone can survive 30 mins and then bootloop...

Why you so care about 'that problem'?
I'm also used CM9 but still that not big problem to me.
If you dont like it than leave it and used jj rom as you said.

instagram crash the phone today once when I switch filter too quick, but I'm pretty sure that's app things.
other than that, fine. I'm watching battery drain right now.

Pretty sure thats not a kernel problem. Normal camera has no crashes.
Battery is pretty good, couple of days with some wifi, gps and standby.

BTW:
Released v0.1B, see first post. (rescaled the bootlogo for you ;))

V0.2 is compiling as we speak.

duhh ... 7.3.431 is not for cm9. am i stated there its for cm9? NO, right? it is obviously not compatible with CM! can you read? CM and Sony ICS/JJ Hybrid are totally different. why didnt you try my aokp kernel?

let me put this way. 7.3.431 i build from sony source which is worked with Stock ICS or JJ Hybrid (or maybe some other rom based on Stock). my AOKP kernel i build from cm source which is worked with AOKP rom or CM (probably, and some other rom based on CM/AOKP). Stock ICS has fully working and CM9 still got minor bugs (i guess) and most probably because of those minor bugs will effect on Rom smoothness. is it clear? i dont care how many times you post about this issue, i will post same answer and statement every time to get things clear.

I dont think its kernel related too, but it is strange that with sirkays 431 kernel (which of course isnt meant for cm9) it works.. At least if thats what you mean. But lets not go too off topic

its not strange. almost 80% - 90% ive disabled unnecessary configuration same like CM9 config file. but it is still not compatible with cm - different source.
