Hello, I was researching a little bit about this and I saw that it is possible our bike g6 play one day still have compatibility with arm64

In this link has the post of the developer of arm64 for the Moto G 5 plus

https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/development/dev-64bits-t3708091

The best GSI Roms and apply today are arm64, I hope our Moto G6 will have this support soon!
It's actually a lot of work. Need all new arm 64 device trees, probably work to be done on vendor as well kernel. That's why it hasn't been done. We had hope from squid2 for a bit. But he's got too much on his plate right now. Bringing up a few devices to Oreo and pie on lineage. Devices like the e4 that officially stopped at nougat. He's working on all that. Probably the e5 play too. Plus adding 64 bit support for those.

There aren't really any advanced developers with that kind of skill working on the g6 or g6 play right now. None that I know of anyways.

It's quite a task to bring a device from arm to arm 64. You pretty much have to start from scratch
