Thank for the kernel.

Running it with dev base 6 Oreo rom
Rom is smoother and faster... No lags ( there was no lags before too)

Battery life seems good with the first cycle... If I fully used it then I think I will get close to 7 or 8 hrs sot
I had to do a few reboots, so couldn't hive a full report

Issues : have to flash magisk or else root is lost
( first boot stuck on samsung logo... Restart with power and volume down button. No root . Magisk says not installed.
Flash magisk.
All good)

Hmmmm we thought we had solved the issue with Magisk and reboots. This should hopefully be fixed in the next build (given all goes well) and I believe OC and UC will also be introduced!

from my experiance if kernel dosent have magisk included, then it gets wiped when installing a new kernel. freeza includes it but back in the note 8 days, reflashing magisk or super su was a must each time.

Not much difference but has a slightly better smoother and faster with daily use.
However when I used it with light rom this kernel was much smoother...
Just making sure. Thanks

Endurance Kernel V1.1.9

  • Linux 4.9.149
  • Updated WireGuard importer

Sorry for the continued delay on OC / UC. I don't currently have a Note 9 to test, and have been preoccupied updating my S9 kernel for Pie. The kernel still seems like it currently needs Magisk to boot unfortunately. A Pie kernel update (V2.0) will be coming when ELS is available. Hopefully we can try and resolve some of these issues then so stay tuned for that. Download links updated in OP! Have a nice day all :)

Some ROMs like Minotaurus require SELinux to be set to permissive for the device to boot. If that doesn't work please let me know.

Tried selinux permissive but does not solved.

I have had moro kernel (unofficial), stock kernel and beastmode kernel end this problem was not present (so i think it is kernel related).
