Check the first question in my FAQ post...
Hi mate thanks for reply
I tried the kernel fix and i tried
Endurance-Kernel-N9-1.2.9.zip.

I am on Endurance-Kernel-N9-OC-2.0.21.zip and it works fine forsome reason no lock screen issues nothing
I don't remember how I got it working but it works

I keep restoring backup when I try updates and get lock screen issues

You can try removing your lock pattern before you update or you can use a ROM that is currently updated with the June security patch

I will try now removing lock screen pattern.
But it might be the June security patch issue.
Thanks mate

Hi I tried removing lock screen pattern and flashing new kernel + fix and Endurance-Kernel-N9-1.2.9.zip. + fix no good
most likely it's probably the June security patch
issue I'll wait until Dr updates the rom and try again.

I don't understand how I got it working in the first place?
Buy the way how do I check ramdisc compatibility
Thanks mate

the 1.2.9 is oreo no?

why arent you using the non OC pie one again?:
Endurance-Kernel-N9-2.0.24.zip

from what i read u used the OC version and it worked fine? if so then simply continue using it or as stated above use the regular non OC version.

problem solved.

Hi I'm trying to update to the Endurance-Kernel-N9-2.0.24.zip the non oc but I get lock screen loops I tried the fixes in the faq 1 and still get loop and tried with no lock pattern
I even tried to flash the Endurance-Kernel-N9-OC-2.0.21.zip again I'm currently on and working with and that does loops so I have too
So I have to restore back up to use phone I don't know what else to try
but it might have someone to do with the Dr's security patch so I'll wait until he updates the rom
Thanks ? mate

use 2.0.18, if i remember correctly its the last one that is compatible with ketans p11 rom(ram disk, as stated b4 you cant flash any kernel ontop of any rom. make sure bases match. this will be an on going thing to lookout for )

OK thanks for your advice mate I will try that one.
But I'm currently on Endurance-Kernel-N9-OC-2.0.21.zip with no problems I don't know howI did it but it works no problems.
If I reflash same kernel I get loop problems so I have to restore back up

I'm on Dr's p11 mate
Thanks
not sure what was done and how but v 2.0.19 to 2.0.21 are all based on the same firmware that p11 is on.

maybe dirty flash p11 again, flash endurance v 2.0.19 or 2.0.20 or 2.0.21 and then flash magisk 19.3.xxx.zip then reboot phone.

there is no reason why you have the issues that you have if you stick with the versions of the files suggested above.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but should I allow EXKM to "apply on boot" with the default values or is the frequencies of CPU and GPU set automatically by the kernel once flashed?

you dont need a kernel manager to benefit from either stock or the OC version.
