@Driieel its safe to upgrade it, its the same samsung rom what devbase 7.4 uses in latest release so it should work with this kernel, but keep in mind if you upgrade it you cab loose your recovery and root access. So you have to go in download mode and use tools like odin to flash twrp again, afterwards boot to twrp and flash a2n kernel and magisk else if you dont want to risk anymore to lose recovery just download and flash devbase 7.4. Its a odexed and slighty modified stock samsung rom and its compatible to dirty flash it over a stock samsung rom.@ up

If you want to give it a try, i would try in this way:
let it update, but once it'll reboot, once the screen is black and then usually the phone vibrates, then just BEFORE the phone vibrates, boot directly in twrp, if there is still twrp recovery then flash A2N kernel and reboot to the system. If not, boot directly in Download mode and flash twrp from my FTP. Then boot directly in twrp and flash a2n kernel. Then you can safely boot without to trigger force encryption by Samsung kernel.

The logcat looks much better now and the CONSCRYPT errors are gone.
I've fixed the issue, so i've uploaded a pre1 build to be found in pre-release folder. Let's hope this was the last bug lol.
I think that Ace’s level of skill is dedication is very rare amongst XDA developers, that’s the thing. They just can’t make something at Ace’s quality level. This community shouldn’t create such sharp divisions between developers. They should work together to create unified Kernels and ROMs. Such a group would represent a massive development colossus and with proper lead, there’s no telling how high any phone could be pushed.yes, I talked to those monkeys from other kernel development groups.. those silly guys don't even do anything about temperature control just releasing stock kernel with god knows what changes with updates.. and tried to convince them that they should try this kernel and dev is always active to help. but replied me with what comes out off boosting your device with temperature raising high and battery drain, I said in that kernel everything's controlable upto your preference like controlling the water with the valve unlike this just on and off controlling in your kernel.. removed me out of disrespect.
btw using 2.7ghz with 55% zram in latest release. no issue at all..
