Thank's, Bro!its kinda too difficult to explain it, first download and extract android image kitchen from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...kernel-ramdisk-win-android-linux-mac.2073775/ and extract the a2n kernel flashable zip with winrar and copy the boot.img from it and copy it to the android image kitchen folder. then you need to hit unpackimg.bat and it should create a folder "ramdisk" and "split_img", you need to go in the ramdisk folder and look for a file "default.prop" and open it with for example notepad++, then you need to look for everything what starts with "pm.dextop" and replace everything with the variable "speed" (apps are faster optimized on boot with duration of 10-30 mins) or "speed-profile" (apps will be optimized within 7 days when on charger) and if you got everything save the file and dont mind the error just hit save. reopen the file again to check if it saved the changes. if is everything right go back to the android image folder and hit repackimg.bat and it should create "image-new.img". delete the boot.img and rename the "image-new.img" to "boot.img". copy the new boot.img to the a2n folder and replace it with the old one. afterwards select everything and rightclick and select "add to archive" and it should open winrar. before making a archive, be sure you selected the archive format zip. choose also a nice archivename for example a2n_kernel_g950x_9.x_preXX_proppatch or a2n_kernel_g950x_9.x_DATE_proppatch ,then hit "OK" and it makes a new flashable zip. and done. move the zip file to your phone and flash it and flash magisk afterwards and be sure to clear dalvik cache and cache. but like i said the first boot for choosing everything on "speed" variable can take 10-30 or more, depends how much apps you have. hope this explains more![]()
Glad to help out!
I will start testing now.
I did the procedure in another way. I downloaded ES FILE EXPLORER, gave root permission, went to the "default.prop" directory and made the changes you mentioned. I don't have that slowness anymore. It looks like it worked like that. I didn't change the "First" or the "boot", I was in doubt if I should. @Ryujin96@Ryujin96 When I get to the ''unpacking'' part in android kitchen this error happens. Do you know what it could be?
Tbh i dont know@Ryujin96 When I get to the ''unpacking'' part in android kitchen this error happens. Do you know what it could be?
Hmm, tbh i dont think it worked becus the file gets replaced with the one out of the /boot partition when you reboot the phone. Only way to change it is to flash a boot.img with a editted default.prop. anyway i attached a editted a2n kernel with a editted prop inside. If you get issues just flash the a2n kernel from ace his ftpI did the procedure in another way. dalvik.vm.usejitprofiles=false
pm.dexopt.first-boot=quicken
pm.dexopt.boot=quicken
pm.dexopt.install=speed
pm.dexopt.bg-dexopt=speed
pm.dexopt.ab-ota=quicken
pm.dexopt.inactive=speed
pm.dexopt.shared=speed
It might have been a false positive then.
Could you make the official version 16.01? It's the most stable and best on my phone.Tbh eu não seipode ser o arquivo está corrompido ou algo assim?

Alright, looking forward how that worksI've tested the following flags and they works very well:
Code:dalvik.vm.usejitprofiles=false pm.dexopt.first-boot=quicken pm.dexopt.boot=quicken pm.dexopt.install=speed pm.dexopt.bg-dexopt=speed pm.dexopt.ab-ota=quicken pm.dexopt.inactive=speed pm.dexopt.shared=speed
This will be the new default in next build.
Okay, on to it. ill let you know when i got it ready.Could you make the official version 16.01? It's the most stable and best on my phone.
Thank you for sharing with us!@ acima
It can be safely used with the A2N app V. 4.0.
The only thing you need to do is to make sure RAM --> "swappiness" is set to "175". (This will be the new default in next version of the app.)
For non A2N Full users: swappiness default of "175" is already set in pre3 and future builds.
Note: in case of random reboot (even for the first time), please post last_kmsg, helps to make this awesome kernel more stable. In case of random soft-reboot you could post logcat, but i've to remember that soft-reboots are caused by the ROM and therefore those soft-reboots can't be fixed by kernel updates. But you can post anyway if you want me to look into it, just to have confirmation if it's ROM bug or not and following my suggestions.
Hmm that explains why there are random reboots or soft reboots after a kernel updates lol besides that i dont have reboots anymore randomly, anyway gonna flash it soonOK guys, i've uploaded pre3 build !!

Im using lightrom. (S8, latest kernel)
Works for me, latest kernel & app.
So what now ? First you say it takes longer and now it's fixed ?
I can agree that the 11.03 build was the smoothestHello, @ace2nutzer
I've an issue, while playing music if I turn off the screen, it stutters and lags, the moment I turn the screen ON, stutter goes away & it sounds normal
I noticed that the issue triggers even with Screen ON when Little CPU goes to lower freqs,
I've checked battery optimizations & all, also earphones are fine, this issue was not there on previous builds,
I think some issue came with HMP CUSTOM in latest builds. 11.03 build was perfect, no lags, zero errors, most stable, everything was perfect!
