I have a X829, too. Kernel 6.5 runs smooth, 6.6 does not let the X829 boot and 6.1 directly opens fastboot after reboot. Any suggestions?

Hi,
i've recompiled latest version 6.6.1 for LineageOS 16 . Runs smooth on my X820 so far.

If you want to give it a try:

1. Download attached file
2. Unpack
3. Flash "blackscreen.img" via FASTBOOT !
4. Hopefully enjoy ;)

BEWARE, i am new to this ! Do this at your own risk ! (BACKUP ! BACKUP ! BACKUP BEFORE FLASHING ! )

Where should we flash it? in system? Or more precisely, what is the command you used in cmd (or terminal in linux) to flash this image?

I have the latest version of the AEX rom ..... I would like to know if this kernel helps to speed up the recognition of the fingerprint and what are the possible inconveniences that I could face.

Thx

Hi, I want to do an undervolting, but when screen off telephone reboot due to luck of voltage. What should I do?

@Allangamer43D can you give me a tip for best rom to use with blackscreen for games?

I'm using old mokee 6.0, and unfortunately my games are starting lagging (clash of clans and Brawl Stars).
I really liked DerpFest 10 (Android 10 - black screen 7.2), runs very stable CoD Mobile, but sometimes I suffer from lack of ram memory for using many applications (4GB)

    ABOUT:
BlackScreen is @mosimchah custom kernel made for custom aosp/caf roms
    ================================================== ==================================================
BlackScreen is meant to give you great battery life and performance (depending on how you tune it), essentially I tried to optimize it for everyday usage (gaming, media consumption. browsing the web, all that stuff), I'm not aiming to have the highest Antutu score (although it is very high, it's just not my focus), you see benchmarks don't really reflect actual everyday usage.
The main thing that I do is port good features and optimizations from the various OnePlus 3/3t kernels (they have many great kernel devs and a lot of their work can benefit us too), I also optimize the kernel settings and stuff like that

BlackScreen is based off of the android linux stable kernel by @nathanchance (He takes caf and upstreams it to the latest from linux stable), with the bringup from @codeworkx, I do my best to keep it up to date with lineage, and Android Linux stable

    ################################################## ##############
    BlackScreen 6.6 & BlackScreen 6.6.1
    ################################################## ##############

    Changes (6.6):
    1. Did a fresh rebase on android linux stable
    2. Updated to Linux 3.18.140
    3. Latest caf tag and wifi driver
    4. Picked a fix from sultanxda to fix potential occasional graphical artifacts
    5. Removed my thermal changes (they only affected the device during boot, zero effect after it's booted, all it did was slow down booting a bit to keep it a tiny bit cooler, and it confused users, plus the stock thermal values aren't exactly bad)

    Changes (6.6.1):
    1. Added the needed commits for the new healthd from Griffin (moto z), this will be needed with the next lineage nightly, future aicp builds, and future builds for other roms as well (most likely, no reason why other roms wouldn't use the updated healthd)
    2. Small stability improvement for the camera
