@ace2nutzer I got all the overclocking stuff working almost perfectly, thanks to you! But there is one catch(?), once I boot without magisk to give root acces to my kernel manager it jups straight up to 2.8 ghz and crashes to reboot almost imideately. Is there any way to stop it from reaching frequencies higher than stock unless I have specifyed it to? Because a kernel mastermind like you must know!

Edit: I think I need to modify the runlevels a bit.

Hmmm in some cases with R61 there has been a drop in GPU performance too. Must be because MIF is no longer kept at maximum frequency, limiting bandwidth.

I am using my S8 with your kernel with power profile "Powersave" and also switch on "Mittleres Energiesparen" to prevent the most data exchange in the background. Magisk is also installed.
ROM: EclipseSTOCK v16 DTEA

My problem:
With Kernel R60, R61 my S8 freezes or it looks like it freeze, 2, 3 times a day. I got this behaviour also with some kernels before, but every two or three kernels it went running without problems.
If it freezes I have to restart my S8 with holding "Vol down"+"On/Off" for 10 seconds.
On freeze I get the "bzzz",when I press on the front lower part, also the display will be fade out after time and the display brightness reacts on surrounding brightness. But more I cannot do with my phone.

Is it possible to use the older Kernel R59, because I tried it, but the battery limiter does not work with app version R61 and also I got messages like "Kernel update needed".

Maybe I can send you some logs or similiar? What do you think about?

PS: Actually I run my S8 with the stock kernel and Magisk.
PS: Is it also possible to write in German, because it is much easier for me.

Thank you very much for the detailed bug report! Please stay on the stock kernel for now until new release is out. Reverting back is actually not supported.

Information too: It freezed on diferent apps, f. e. WhatsApp, Geburtstage, e.on, gmail.
If I am right, the freeze happens short after use after a (longer) standby time and sometimes it feels like a slow down (over some seconds) and then stop/freeze.

On G960F, I noticed that when I go on very high frequency, Kernel serves OCP errors and crashes the phone. Disabling the driver in Kernel does nothing, so it's probably in BL. Did you disable this on S8 to allow users to run 2808MHz? Or it's not disabled at all?

over_current_protection on G950F is only in hardware.
On G960F likely the same thing.
According to the source code it's possible to disable it only in Qualcomm devices.

It is removed in the a2n apps and kernel becus it didnt work at all for some users or it works buggy.

L3 patch is added with a2n kernel installation. L1 patch doesn't work at all. If you want L1 with custom kernel you need to patch the corresponding app, not the kernel.

I don’t understand why on AnTuTu V7 GPU performance is lower too. Maybe it’s from lack of HMP, but GPU score is as low as it was on Android 8 with old drivers at 572 now

Doesn’t look like it’s due to CPU. GPU is just about 10% slower in any AnTuTu workload at 572. Now I need 683 to keep up (86,000 vs 92,000). Probably it’s because MIF is no longer at max frequency while running the GPU benchmark, because cpu is at low frequency. Maybe it’s also due to disabled shader cores hotplugging
