I see a ton of ROMs so I'm sure its cracked

Samsung Galaxy S II
CyanogenMod 10.1.3 Stable/AOCP ICEE
AJK BOSS 4.9 Kernel

Unless you got a phone that has the old pre-MF3 bootloader then you are stuck with a rooted stock, or using the very limited SafeStrap to run some custom 4.2.2 ROMs.

The T-mobile S4 was a good option, but the new Android 4.3 update for that phone adds a new locked bootloader for it as well. :(

Aside from the international version and the Google edition, almost all new S4's are pretty much completely locked down.

I've seen a lot of 4.4 builds for the S4 in each of the carrier branded phone forums, so idk what you are talking about. I even talked to one of the thread owners.

He said PRE bootloader update. If you have a phone that doesn't have that particular lockdown, you can install custom roms all day long. If you updated through at&t, then you're screwed.

Just like AJ said...

What I am talking about is...if you have an AT&T S4 that has MDL or earlier firmware then you can use custom ROMs by using LOKI, which is a bootloader exploit.

If you have MF3 or later then LOKI was patched and you cannot use it anymore, and thus you cannot use custom ROMs except for those few 4.2.2 ROMs that work using SafeStrap.

Verizon S4's are also locked down in the same way, some early/non-updated phones can use LOKI and the later ones cannot.

T-mobile is in the process of updating their S4's now with their own locked bootloader.

Aside from the T-mobile update, this stuff is all months old and nothing new....you should go research it some.
