are you disabling BCL? or changing BCL value? My phone keeps shutting down around 15%. KA reports the battery is in good state. Does anyone know how to fix that without sacrificing performance?
I'm on latest RR 7.1.2 with bhb27 kernel v7.8

No I'm not. The only thing I changed on KA since latest clean install is the color profile.are you disabling BCL? or changing BCL value?
then give BCL (Low and High) voltage threshold a 300+ and put BCL max freq at the lowest values. yes it will cause lost of performance but may help..No I'm not. The only thing I changed on KA since latest clean install is the color profile.
I can't replicate the problem so I have no idea what it is that causes a reboot when the deice wakes up, seems associated to yours config but yours config doesnot affect my device or the new kernel (v7.9) has a a fixe, so try to disable wakeup and hotplug boost they don't really give a noticeable boost as there is others tool that are already in place running that do when better boosts, and use any other hotplug as all do the same thing minus Mpdecision that only do boosts and doesn't unplug.I got two random restarts in a few minutes, maybe bug, maybe u can help me, i will install ur boot.img if u tell me to do
app v quark5.7 has the final fix, thanks the logs helped...@bhb27 Kernel adiutor force closes when I change to the CPU tab. It happens with the latest version 5.6, but started earlier. Removing profiles, clearing data and caches does not help. Kernel is 7.8, but started after 7.4. Logs are attached. Thanks!

Thank you! It works again now.app v quark5.7 has the final fix, thanks the logs helped...
I've been using this Maxx since early June. It rarely goes below 30% as I have either a charger or my external battery with me most of the time.then give BCL (Low and High) voltage threshold a 300+ and put BCL max freq at the lowest values. yes it will cause lost of performance but may help..
quark is 3 years old, how old is yours and when do you charge in relation to the %?
if you are one that lets the battery go under 20% and you have it for more then one years doing that, your battery is probably damage as those battery are not supposed to go under 20% every time you discharge it, only some times...
yeah but you sayI've been using this Maxx since early June. It rarely goes below 30% as I have either a charger or my external battery with me most of the time.
Cleared data for KA before installing yesterday's updates. Gonna try it for some days, it's all good so far but if it happens again I'll report here along with kernel logs.
Thanks for the help so far![]()
"keeps" implies plural that implies that you do that a lot make no sense with last post...My phone keeps shutting down around 15%
Yeah I didn't phrase it correctly. I meant that the phone shuts down automatically whether the battery goes to 15%, no matter what I've been doing since last full charge. Why would I let the battery die when I'm near a charging point almost all the time?"keeps" implies plural that implies that you do that a lot make no sense with last post...
+ even you be using the device since June did you bought it new? like I wrote quark is a 3 years old device... the box has the manufactured date if it's new new the date doesn't matter but if is used it does.
You can try to disable BCL switch, but that is not advice as can make the battery even worse trow time and cause others tipes of problems like random reboots.
Why 70%? Why not 99.9%?On a battery related note, is there a way to stop the battery from charging over a certain percent. I have my phone attached to my computer all day and it charges too 100 % and the stays there for about 6 hours. Being from the generation where you would run the cordless drill until it stopped I am unsure if charging the phone and keeping it 100% was detrimental. I installed a xda app to turn off charging at 70% and it works but sometimes sticks and I need to uninstall the app and reboot before it will charge again.
Anyway.. is there a way to set a charge limit with your kernel to stop it at 70%. Does it matter? I plan on keeping the phone another year.
It stops charging unless it starts dropping then kicks back in. I keep mine plugged in unless I go out. Wall charger that is.Why 70%? Why not 99.9%?
But when it hits 100%, I'm not sure it keeps charging. On Qi wireless charging pad, it doesn't. It turns off at 100%. Then, turns back on, as needed.
Maybe plug in is different, I don't really know.

Roger roger. I like that answer. I will take that as a no, this isn't a thing, and I won't worry about it.I've used all my phone's like this since the droidx, have no problems with battery yet had this turbo since came out.
works just fine on custom N, xt1225 kernel v 7.9, but it fails on M stock I have no idea waysorry. i can't speak english well. (this question google translate)
I use marshmallow(6.0.1) stock rom.
Starting with kernel version 6.6, boldbeast recorder can not record calls and record voice.
So I can not install the latest version of the kernel.
Kernel version 6.5 will be recorded normally.
Could you tell what the cause is?
