Okay. Thanks. That's exactly what I've chosen to do also. Having come from a Note 20 Ultra, I was used to have DT2W and tap to show info working on the stock kernel. The battery life on that phone was appalling though. I am very impressed with the performance and battery life I'm getting with your kernel. Great work.

This is just the very beginning. Exynos 9810 has more performance than this waiting to be taken out. And it wouldn't impact battery life that much.

I am using this kernal with the Q18 version of ROM provided by Dr Ketan, I have been thinking to change file system to f2fs.
Is it safe to change it from twrp. Do I have to flash rom again after that. Does that rom supports f2fs?

no the roms here dont support f2fs, you will have to modify the fstab.samsungexynos9810 file to mount the partitions as f2fs

note that i have changed bith data and cache partition to f2fs but when i tried to change the system partition it failed as magisk couldnt mount it. i didnt have time to try again though

and no, you cant simply reinstall the rom because by default it will mount the partitions as ext4. you will need to change them (data and cache partitions) AFTER the rom is installed, and you need to do this every time you reinstall or update the rom, unless you are an advanced user who is able to manage it

Yes, I messed up with my phone yesterday. Had to refresh stock after changing the filesystem back to extra. I understood that ROM is changing the partition back to extra, so it wont be easy to keep f2fs.

ok guys, sorry to keep you waiting so long

due to the latest linux kernel upstreams being applied together with those uv introduced before, we faced some problems with the artifacts. they are not major problem tbh but who knows. it will be a disaster for me to redo the changes again and again if it becomes a serious problem

i had to decide whether we keep the uv or continue with the upstream. and after many tests i decided to ditch those kernel patches, at least for now

i will then continue what i wanted to do with this kernel

btw, the release build is ready, but i want to wait for the latest fuj2 patches from samsung as i dont want to release another build shortly after this one. i will send them an email later

anyway, we will have some improvements this time again! so stay tuned!

I actually managed to cross the 2400 barrier. The next build will provide better performance, that's for sure.
Need some more testing

Which kernel manager works to make undervolt? I tried many including Franco K, k tweaks and no one shows me access to voltage parameters , i'm using BM kernel v2.14fix in ketan q17.

Something strange occur, with BM kernel v2.05 thunder kernel manager shows me Gpu voltage control (i think do nothing because I set to - 100mv and no crash occur after stress gpu) but after update the kernel to v2.14 or 2.15, it's parameters dissappeared . I don't know whats wrong..

custom uv has been dropped since 2.14 or 2.15 as you mentioed, due to the fact that it didnt work properly. and a pre uv build will be included in the next release shortly

There is no tunable for uV in this Kernel. uVs across the entirety of the SoC will be available in the next build that will be released, together with performance improvements.

No. They can't be checked or edited. A default uV has been applied at boot without need to manually introduce one.

maybe will be interesting to create 2 versions of each kernel mod: 1) stable for all Uv settings, and 2) agressive Uv settings, to test device individuality. Maybe its irrelevant for the minimum gain between both.
