maximum volume lowered

I have been using this kernel from many days. Other than wifi problem, I noticed that the volume is not that high as compared to stock kernel. Can't say about the loud speakers but I am pretty sure about the earphones.

Should we just discontinue stock kernel releases and start AOSP ones?
I can continue stock releases but no guarantee about WiFi bugs.
Please reply soon. I have to work on it too. :p

I like the stock ROM more than CM for our moto e because stock ROm is more stable. I don't know about AOSP Rom for Moto E. Can you provide us a link ?

I can give my opinion for your question after actually experiencing that AOSP Rom.

AOSP stands for Android Open Source Project which includes CM for our device. And if he creates a kernel for AOSP , actually he is making a kernel for CM11 by percy. I hope its clear buddy

Thanks.

So OP, I would like to go with stock ROM. At the moment, it is the stablest and most optimized ROM for our device. percy has really worked hard and he is continuing to do the same. I appreciate his efforts. But still, stock ROM is the best (at least for me).

    GPL Compliance:
Just a statement regarding kernel source: The Kernel Source is of course covered under GPL version 2. Free software does NOT mean no work or time was spent working on it. I have donated a large sum of my free time to this kernel. If you want to include my kernel in your project or use my source code, please mention it in your post, give proper credits.
    Opensource does not mean 'Out-of-credit'
    Thank you.

I would like to mention much more things but I don't like bloated OP's so I am keeping it short.

    Phantom Kernel r2

So after keeping you guys at wait for a long long time, I am back with a heavy update! :D
The changelog might look small but the changes are heavy.
It might only work with latest CM nightly because of some module related changes, wait for others to update.

    Changelog:
Only for AOSP ROMs for now.
Two kernel zips- one in boot.img format and other one using anykernel kernel updater.
Updated to latest v3.4.104 latest linux upstream.
    Kexec hardboot support.
Sound Control v3. Thanks to @savoca and @faux123
    exFat file system support.
Lots of upstream patches to block/unix etc.
Added smartmax governor and tripNdroid scheduler.
    Phantom ramdisk tweaks.
...much more stuff, go to github and checkout yourself.

Downloads available in dev-db as usual.

Also I have stripped most of the stuff from OP, it looks ridiculous. Go to github to check every single feature.

Is there any WiFi issue in hor1z0nKernel? If its working fine there then it should work fine here also. If not then I will look into what's causing it.

My kernel has wifi issues as well on weak/average WiFi connections. Not our fault though. Motorola hasn't release Prima Sources for Condor which are probably optimised for stability on Moto E and I'm having to make do with the ones from Moto G/X.

Anyway, congratulations on the kernel and really nice work! :good:

I'm kind of busy these days so it's really good to see someone else chipping in because this devices deserves more developers.

    Good work anyway.

    Cheers!

P.S. Have you release kernel sources yet? Just saying.

Hello everyone! So here we are.
I am locking this thread because I have very important 12th standard boards examination coming up in March next year which are everything to me. None of my kernels are discontinued just yet. They might get updated to be inline with lollipop. Thanks for being with me! :)

Don't bother about asking these questions as I will ignore them:
    What about CPU/GPU OC/UC/UV?
    Useless patches.
    Placebo effects.
    Custom drivers.
    USB OTG.
