Figured I'd ask, but I have an N4, touch on it doesn't work. The phone is factory defaulted, with bootloader unlocked. It just boots to the setup screen. I'd like to be able to use a keyboard and mouse for it, but of course I need to enable all this OTG goodness. Curious if I can just flash the kernel, and then use a Y cable? I'm messing with it now.

Did you get this working at all? I'm in the same boat as you.

Try it this way.

First get a Bluetooth mouse. Look for someone nearby who has N4 with TWRP.
Ask him to install the ROM, enable BT and pair the mouse.

Do not turn off BT!

Make a backup on that N4 in TWRP and copy the directory to Your N4.
Restore the backup with the same version of TWRP and check if the mouse works.

In my opinion, it should work, because I did so several times to go the installation process of google application on N4 with an inactive area of the touch screen. I was restoring a backup with a working BT and a paired mouse on my N4 and it works fine. I didn't check if it would work on another device.

If you check that it works, write here to help others in the future.

Can anyone edit the kernel to support swap? I keep getting "kernel doesn't support swap" and ive been trying to enable it. ive also never gotten zram to work either. I have a copy of the v20 kernel, since its the last to support marshmallow.
