Zoom pinch (two fingers), other swiping gesture doesn't work on MIUI ROMs. Tried on Global, EU; Stock kernel works.

I know that MIUI might not be supported, but it has been stable for me all week. No issues at all; good performance and battery. Thanks for developing this kernel!

Anybody from USA or North America using this kernel? I've heard F3 on AOSP ROMs have difficulty with cell tower changes and crashes/reboots.

1. Does anybody (USA/NA) have crashes/reboots while on this kernel?
2. If no crashes/reboots, are there any interruptions in cell data? Whether roaming or otherwise.

Thanks for developing this kernel!

Running ArrowOS 11.0, I have flashed multiple kernels (see below) with a focus on avoiding this bug and minimising idle drain. Only IMMENSITY and BAALAM are compatible with ArrowOS re. the bug, with IMMENSITY also having a slightly better idle drain than BAALAM, Optimus Drunk and stock ArrowOS in my case (average of 2% difference overnight on aeroplane mode); IIRC, N0Kernel was in-between barring a separate issue. Drain for other kernels was not tested as I would switch back to IMMENSITY after experiencing the initially-mentioned bug.

Kernels flashed: The 90s Kernel, aRise, BAALAM, DawFuk, Eclipsia, HyperX, IMMENSITY X, N0Kernel, Optimus Drunk, OtherWorld, Quantic

Update (7 Mar)
Of the kernels listed, the below versions are fully compatible with ArrowOS 11.0:
  • IMMENSITY X 0.4.j (latest 1.0.0 version causes hangs/crashes which forces reboot)
  • N0Kernel 1.7 (later versions cause bug)
  • BAALAM 1.6.9 (later versions cause bug)
Update (20 Apr)
N0Kernel is fully compatible as of 2.2.

Update (28 Apr)
IMMENSITY X is fully compatible as of 2.0.0.

EDIT: added info
Hey, I want to reduce my idle battery drain. Do you know any rom and kernel combo that can get me idle overnight drain of 1% or less with WiFi on?

I checked xdroid and it comes with gapps. How's arrow A12? Is idle battery drain an issue in arrow is?
Personally, I encountered high idle drain with one of the final ArrowOS 12.0 beta builds (up to 12% overnight on aeroplane mode) but people have generally reported good battery life since then. Probably best to ask for more recent experiences in the thread.

    • Before reporting an issue, please check that it only occurs with this kernel installed. Otherwise it may be an issue with the ROM.
    • The above also applies the other way around; i.e., don't report issues to the maintainer of a ROM unless they also occur without this kernel.
    • Be aware that battery issues are very likely related to your personal settings. Don't blame me for your modifications.
    • Always use the latest Kernel release with the latest build of your ROM of choice. If the kernel is much newer than the ROM or the other way around, weird issues may arise.
