Been using r3 for a while
In combination with asylum 10.2 ,
I've had a few situations where I would have 60%-70% battery left ,but I get an SOD and when I reboot the phone the battery drops to about 16-17% ..this has happened a few times .

Any suggestions ?

Try flashing stock Asylum kernel/CM kernel.

I had this once as well, just before the crash the screen started to flicker. The cause was the battery which went sour. After replacing it, all went back to normal.

Hey, it's been a while! I don't come to XDA much, and I think that's because I'm finally satisfied with my phone. Been using CM10.1 RC2 and raw r3 since, it's smooth enough for an everyday use. Still getting some SODs from time to time, after like 80h of uptime. It looks like a memory leak so I don't know if it comes from my kernel or not.

I'm just beginning my erasmus year in Ireland, so I didn't have much time to work on this project these days. I hope I will get some spare time to finally update these f** mali drivers.

In other news, I'm finally switching to CM10.2 because I heard the graphical glitches were solved. This means no more new releases for cm10.1/JB4.2. I'd like to rebase properly my work to the cm-10.2 branch.

I'm happy to present you my new kernel, Raw Kernel, based on the official CyanogenMod 10.1 kernel.
Here you go, @XxPixX :highfive:

Changes over stock :

• Increased lowest GPU step from 100MHz to 134MHz (merged to mainline)
• Use the right GPU voltage table for 1400MHz devices (merged to mainline)
• Linaro 4.7-13.07 compiled (feels snappier!)
• Defaults to ROW/pegasusq instead of CFQ/ondemand
• Safe undervolt for better battery life and less heat

That's all. These tiny changes are trully noticeable.

• r3 for CM10.1/JB4.2 (announce)
• r3 for CM10.2/JB4.3 (announce)

I'm stuck for the moment, because I get EGL_BAD_ALLOC at boot and I can't know why. This is the magic of undocumented blobs and 1GB tarball source drops. Blame ARM and Samsung here :good:

Anyway, I heard that Android 4.3 for the SIII will be released in October, which surely means easy-to-integrate r3p2 drivers.

Also, I'm waiting for the 4.7-2013.08 Linaro toolchain to release Raw Kernel r4.

I have read that there is a 4.3 leaked rom for the galaxy s3, can it be useful to take the new mali driver?
