@GeeckoDev: did you mean with 'almost working' applies for android 4.4? i asked this because your patches r3p2 n s3cfb are working fine in 4.3 for i9100.
btw, many thanks for the patches. :)

I'm talking about new hwcomposer now :good: There's some issues in s3cfb...

Is there a planned update to Jelly Bean 4.3 for the S2/Note ?

I've been using r4 with Slim 2 for weeks now.. The setup is great and the Kernel does the trick. Great job!!.

Nevertheless, just a few days ago I've been noticing high battery drain.. BBS doesn't tell me much other than the phone is awake. Cpu spy tells me that the phone never goes to sleep something it did until I noticed this abnormal behavior.

I haven't done anything other than regular app updates. Again, no app is shown in BBS.

I just rebuilt caches to see if the situation improves.

Is there anything than I am missing or any suggestions?

Thanks

Ok, it seems than rebuilding caches did the trick. The phone goes to back deep sleep as usual.

Downloading and testing. Is this kernel for me if I want battery life? I know I should try it myself but curiosity kills the cat so I thought I should ask first. If I will use it, it will be r3 4.2. Thanks Geecko!
EDIT: I thought switching the kernel wouldn't do much and you've proved me wrong. This kernel made my phone really smooth and snappy. Now I'm just waiting for battery stats :)

Hi there. Bleeding edge technology can be confusing :) :
- is anyone working on integrating this in anything related to the i9100? (Dorimanx?)
- Could your kernel also work out of the box on the i9100?

Me wants. Nao.

Sorry.
