This means more smoothness for everyone. :good:Increase lowest GPU step for 1400MHz devices
Devices using the 1400MHz Exynos 4210 are using 1280*800 screens. This
is a much bigger resolution than the Galaxy S2. 100MHz as the lowest GPU
step is too low for these devices, resulting in lag. Bump it up to
134MHz.
did u use the 10.2 or 10.1? dont know what to choose, i know android 4.3 is cm 10.2 so it sounds like i should get the one for 10.2. am i right?Installed on August 7,4.3 build PA build and phone boots up fine![]()

yea that i knew, i just wasnt sure since im using aospa rom and didnt want to mess up my phone, thanks anyways10.2 = 4.3
10.1=4.1/4.2
Nice to read that! You know, getting better performance is a matter of finding the "hot spots" and working on them. That was the first obvious thing to do.After reading the commit for 10.1 and checking what was changed I installed the 10.2 version here.
And with that I clearly have to apologize for my harst statement before because a small parameter modification like this will have an positive impact.
Continue with this and let's hope there might be more findings like that.

This change is already included in Raw Kernel, except the threshold thing. I'm testing it right now.mali: pick the right GPU voltage table for 1400MHz devices, restore thresholds
8-level table was always used, resulting in increased voltages for
1400MHz devices. Now, the right table (5-level) can be picked at
runtime.
Restore the thresholds to stock value for more stable frequencies.
Just wondering, why dont u submit the patches in 10.2 branch??Another patch submitted to gerrit :

It should be up for tomorrow, I have to sync the cm-10.2 branch and apply my patches on top of it.So let's see if the latest changes to 10.1 which were confirmed by Hillenbrand will appear in the cm10.2 kernel soon.
No this kernel is for aosp roms ONLY!!! Do not flash this on TW roms what so ever.Im on stock rom with rooted and cwm only , my firmware DXLSE , can i use this kernel? sorry for noob question
