While it's working fine like you say, doesn't mean it how it's supposed to be. There's people that rip of the kernel lot's of OnePlus changes, so there's that.@Freak07 got it working, I tested a build for OOS11 on my 7T Pro and it's working fine. They mentioned the same thing, OnePlus released messy sources and they had to port code to fix it, hopefully that helps other devs. The only other working kernel for OOS11 I know of is icekernel, which was actually hacked together to work on "only" 7 Pro before sources were even released somehow.
I would like to keep what I can to be as close to stock as possible.
Maybe there's was some backporting in that case like some of Luk's patches, it wasn't enough for me sadly on my hacked tree.
If some more stuff is needed from backports or toolchain related, I will patiently wait on this one for now.
If you have some nice patches so I can take a look, let me know.
But I have other devices to tend to as I like to keep a nice release schedule, I can't even look at this one right now tbh.
Guess this latest couple days were just a bit tiresome.
All this could be avoided if the OP trees had all the code needed, without spaghetti stuff between trees and all that proprietary modules junk.
