I already explained how his goes.
r186 is for stable OOS 10.3.0. Without any wonky extras.
If using anything besides this, you're on your own.
There's nothing on latest versions to change drain or ram usage.

kernel is fine mate, nothing I can do for you.
Let's move on now.
^Typo^ - 10.3.0 should be 9.0.10.

There is no stable A10 (yet) for OP5/T. @eng.stk referenced stable A10 for OP6/T in error.

Just be patient, Q2 is not that far away.

Cheers! ?

Had OP6 forum open hehe

Actually 9.0.9, we don't have 9.0.10 source ;p
But yeah works fine with both!

This device needa A10, for sure [emoji16]

blu_spark r188 release (pie unified)

All right crew!

New build is up!
Pie builds are unified, good to go on 5/5T :good:
Custom ROM variant will only support ROMs that follow CAF/AOSP wifi module usage (I tested on OMNI). So if you use a custom ROM with builtin driver (like LOS), you're out of luck.
Also checkout latest recommended blu_spark extras with blu_twrp v9.101 (Pie support).
You can now use FKM download kernel feature, just import the links bellow in the app flash section :highfive:

blu_spark_r188 release
FKM download configs: oos | custom
  • Synchronize codes for OnePlus5 & 5T OxygenOS 9.0.10
  • Update wifi module for custom ROMs
  • AnyKernel3 updates

Keep in mind: I will give no active support for custom ROMs (including OOS based ones).
I am only interested on debugging stuff in stock and stable OOS (with logs and reproducible steps to replicate the issue).
Don't spam this thread with LOS or other ROMs stuff like "this don't work, my app doesn't open, etc" or debugging features.
Also don't go spam and bug reporting on ROM threads if using this.

No mirrors please
If you like my work, donations are always welcome.
Don't forget to hit thanks and rate the thread nicely, it's free :)

Hey, love the kernel.

Am I being stupid or missing something previously discussed - when I flash the latest kernel on my OP5T it is being detected by the kernel as 'cheeseburger' rather than dumpling. Any idea why or if this is something that I should worry about fixing?

Cheers! :)

It's being detected where and how?
Not a big deal though, the installer parses whatever it finds first, which is reported from your system.
It's exactly the same.

The kernel is detecting my device (OP5T) as cheeseburger rather than dumpling in Blu Spark Twrp (latest) when I'm flashing it.

Thanks, upgraded to 188 via franko kernel manager app. That trick with json really awesome, when yours latest twrp can't unlock with password :D
(wrong migration steps, when downgraded from derpfest rom, 10th android; personal data is encrypted now)
Happy user.

I’ve updated to my 5T to [ROM][10.0][VoLTE] DerpFest and now I’m having an error at the backup process of the data partition (I do understand that there is no new version to 10.0).
I’m using Blu_Spark twrp-3.3.1-x_blu_spark_v9.101_treble-op5_op5t.img. the phone is encrypted.

When backing Data the process run to it’s 100% and then end with:
“CreateTarFork() process ended with ERROR: 255
Backup Failed. Cleaning Backup Folder.”
But all the files stay in the TWRP folder.

The end of the log file is:
Code:
failed to lookup tar policy for '/data/per_boot' - 'bcc0edbd4b6f3914'
I:Error adding file '/data/per_boot' to '/data/media/0/TWRP/BACKUPS/76198878/2020-01-24--03-01-21_data/data.ext4.win004'
Error creating backup.
I:ERROR tarList for thread ID 0
Error creating backup.
I:InfoManager saving '/data/media/0/TWRP/BACKUPS/76198878/2020-01-24--03-01-21_data/data.info'
createTarFork() process ended with ERROR: 255
Backup Failed. Cleaning Backup Folder.
I:Copying file /tmp/recovery.log to /data/media/0/TWRP/BACKUPS/76198878/2020-01-24--03-01-21_data/recovery.log
I cannot see any file inside /data/per_boot folder

I’ve tried to fix this by wiping data and then restoring the backup. System boot without a problem, but on next backup I still get this error

Did not had this problem before updating from V9 to V10.
hope this helps.

TWRP is an extra for people running blu_spark Pie stuff, don't spam my thread with random ROMs/recovery discussions that doesn't belong here.
Thanks.

blu_spark extras v9.110

All right crew!

Here's an updated TWRP with all the blu_spark goodies inside and fully synced with TWRP Android-9.0 branch (including more recent upstream than official TWRP) and some specific device fixes.

Fully synced with TWRP 3.3.1+, name changing to reflect base 9.version, full compatible with Pie stuff (you need Pie fw also) and A10 custom ROMs will work also (OMNI tested)
TWRP blu_spark edition is unified, works for both OP5/5T.
Delete your twrp settings or else issues may arise if coming from other version besides blu_spark.
This build is treble ready, allowing /vendor partition operations. If you don't use treble enabled ROMs, ignore any vendor errors that may appear, TWRP will work just fine.

twrp-3.3.1-x_blu_spark_v9.110_treble-op5_op5t

  • build: TWRP 3.31-x | blu_spark v9.110
  • Supports Android 10
  • /sbin should come first in the linker search path
  • Move decryption error from logerror to loginfo
  • Encryption: don't try wrapped key if not needed
  • Removing fake error: E: recv error on uevent
  • bootable: read all asserts in case there are more than one.
  • Prevent errors caused by /data/per_boot/
  • crypto: add some missing newlines
  • Complete overhaul of Dutch translation:
  • recovery: wipe bootloader message from index 0 when using custom offsets
  • android-5.1: use char constructor for default on c++ streams
  • recovery: Move bldrmsg offset symbols to bootloader_message.cpp
  • Encryption: try wrapped key also for device without metadata support
  • ldconfig: add /sbin to search.paths
  • Device specific changes here
