Happened to me too and I think its related to magisk AND kernel touching the boot.img. So I restored a backup and flashed magisk again. Booted up and after that flashed the kernel again.
Thanks for reply. Now i've dirty flashed stock ROM (OOS 4.5.10), booted then flashed Magisk v14; so with this I have stock rom, stock kernel and root.
After that, i've flashed blu_spark r25 and i've lost root again....

Try this:
- uninstall Magisk completely by flashing Magisk Uninstaller via TWRP;
- flash Magisk v14 through TWRP.
This worked for me.

Just wanted to pop in and say this kernel with fastlane is absolute insanity. I've never had a device this snappy before, it's incredible!

Thanks for not only the kernel, but giving us a more up to date TWRP than the official.

It's not much, but what I can afford and just my way of saying thank you!!

:highfive:

Great kernel!
Love the CPU governor, and the fast lane feature.
I just wanted to stop by and say thanks @eng.stk
Thanks mate, enjoy :)

Amazing kernel ! I Have a great battery life and performance, thanks :) And Do you plan to add a SPECTRUM support ?

Sorry for my bad english
Glad you like it :good:
I don't see the need for that, no plans to add it.

question

Can I flash this kernel using official TWRP 3.1.1? I have a problem - I dirty flashed the ROM, then SuperSU 2.82, then flash blu_spark kernel r25. I can't load ROM then, it goes always to TWRP.
OOS 4.5.10.

blu_spark r27

All right crew!

New build is up :highfive:
Also take a look to the rest of blu_spark v43 extras to get some nice and useful additions to the kernel.

blu_spark_r27-oos_op5_ebbe7e8.zip
blu_spark_r27-custom_op5_0454f27.zip

  • blu_active: checks to avoid kernel crash
  • Bluetooth: Properly check L2CAP config option output buffer length (CVE-2017-1000251 / BlueBorne fix)
  • drivers: Warning fixes to disable CC_OPTIMIZE_FOR_SIZE
Keep it real, keep it true, keep it blu :highfive:

Keep in mind: I will give no active support for custom ROMs (including OOS based ones).
Meaning, if using anything besides stock and stable OOS don't bother posting about it.
I am only interested on debugging stuff in stock and stable OOS (with logs and reproducible steps to replicate the issue).
Don't spam this thread with LOS or other ROMs stuff like "this don't work, my app doesn't open, etc" or debugging features.
Also don't go spam and bug reporting on ROM threads if using this.

If you like my work, donations are always welcome.
Don't forget to hit thanks and rate the thread nicely, it's free ;)

I am having wifi problems, cannot start my wifi. I flashed in this order:
First Magisk, everything was working perfect. Stock OOS and Kernel.
Then I flashed blu, and root was lost but wifi was working, so I flashed magisk again and now I cannot start my wifi

Any help on how to fix it?
