I might be blind but I have looked it up and can not find information on what fast lane is. I found the setting under cpu settings in Ex Kernel manager and it is set to 0
If you do a search within the thread you should definitely find posts that talk about it. With a setting of 0 the feature is off. You need to change the value to 1 to turn the feature on and do it separately for big and little cores. Fast Lane as I understand it is supposed to make the CPU response more aggressive resulting in smoother performance. The other change that people usually make is to lower the Fast Lane threshold from 50 to 35 which is supposed to make the difference more noticeable. You again need to do that separately for both big and little.

I still have problems with wifi and/or no root in magisk when I use your kernel ;(. Have someone the same settings (Rom) and no bugs? xXx Rom + magisk 14 + r27. Any ideas? I think it's Rom related....

Edit: I think I found a solution and I will share it. When u are on xXx Rom you must select in aroma: clear all magisk scripts

No support is given unless you are on stock OOS, and this is also considered off-topic in this thread

Have heard some amazing things about this kernel.

Personally havent ventured past the kernel which has come with whatever ROM I've flashed, but the things I'd heard made me want to try it..

Just one simple question, maybe I've missed it, I am on RR unofficial, don't need no help with that, but just wanted to know if it actually works on that and which one lol?

Custom or the other one ?

At a guess I'd say custom but just wanted to be sure.

Bit nervy asking that as there's been a few people shot down for asking things, I honestly didn't see a part which specified..maybe I'm just getting old :)

Yes custom, but as the OP says, no support will be given on anything other than stock OOS

I previously came from Boeffla and with that kernel the dev said the management app needed to be exempt from Doze for the kernel to function properly. Is there any similar recommendation with this kernel or is it OK for Kernel Auditer to Doze?

Just set treshold to 30 or 35 for both clusters and fastlane for both to 1. I don't see any extreme battery drain like on stock OOS Rom. As a matter of fact, this one is much more battery friendly and deep sleep works good. Give it a try and see if satisfies your needs.

Thanks again for your work bro!

I'm sorry for the OT but it feels just so awesome to keep it blu still:D
Welcome mate!
Once blu_spark'd, always blu_spark'd :)

For you. Is better 30 or 35 ?

blu_spark r30

All right crew!

New build is up :highfive:
Also take a look to the rest of blu_spark v43 extras to get some nice and useful additions to the kernel.

This build features latest blu goodies and new wakelock blocker interface by boeffla, build with latest blu_naro-7.2 :good:
With the new wakelock block system you can add any wakelock source you want, works like this: you can edit /sys/class/misc/boeffla_wakelock_blocker/wakelock_blocker and add the wakelock name in there to block it (list separated by ';')
If you want to survive reboots, you can use a script (check the attached example inside the zip). Just copy your script to /magisk/.core/post-fs-data.d or /su/su.d, depending on root option you use ( don't forget to set the file permission 777)
You can get more info about it here. Because this is powerful and can bring potentially derps if you choose to block unknown stuff, I will give no support if you choose to use any wl blocking (which I didn't before anyway).

blu_spark_r30-oos_op5_28565f7.zip
blu_spark_r30-custom_op5_28aae04.zip

  • build: use newest and improved blu_naro-7.2, build from developer snapshot Linaro GCC 7.2-2017.09, with updated components and improvements/fixes
  • blu_active: handle error for module load fail
  • defconfig: enable boeffla wakelock blocker
  • boeffla_wl_blocker: add generic wakelock blocker driver v1.0.0, update to wakelock blocker driver v1.0.1, update to wakelock blocker driver v1.1.0
  • boeffla_wl_blocker: don't block wakelocks by default
  • Revert singular wakelock block
  • Revert su expose workarounds
  • DASH: spoof normal usb fastcharge into android-7.1 (custom only)
Keep it real, keep it true, keep it blu :highfive:

Keep in mind: I will give no active support for custom ROMs (including OOS based ones).
Meaning, if using anything besides stock and stable OOS don't bother posting about it.
I am only interested on debugging stuff in stock and stable OOS (with logs and reproducible steps to replicate the issue).
Don't spam this thread with LOS or other ROMs stuff like "this don't work, my app doesn't open, etc" or debugging features.
Also don't go spam and bug reporting on ROM threads if using this.

If you like my work, donations are always welcome.
Don't forget to hit thanks and rate the thread nicely, it's free ;)
