And you also have to put in command "su" to let terminal get root before you you do the commands.

You can use terminal app. (Requires Root)
All you have to type is one line give below and it'll disable screen dimmer when it is on.

write /sys/module/mdss_fb/parameters/backlight_dimmer 0

How to use it? I have downloaded and flashed it. Then I downloaded kernel adiutor but unable to flash or give root permission. I was not able to see any app/tab. Thus, thought of flashing magsik. But moment I flashed that phone went into fastboot mode.

I had to use recovery to bring it back.

So, let us say I do not have magsik or SuperSU install on my phone and I wanted to enable fast charging of BB via kernel adiutor. What should i do?

Kernel Adiutor needs root permission to do this, so you will have to find a root solution that works.

And you can just install it from playstore, no need to flash KA.

Fast charge is by default enabled in this kernel.

New build is up
Change log is available here.
It is a big update as latest Linux kernel patches are added now, also new GPU freq are added which can potentially save quiet some battery.

Also I am creating a poll
If you want a few more Nougat builds till O isn't fully mainstream then respond to poll accordingly.
As of now I am planning to not build N kernel anymore.
Rest depends on Poll result, it'll be open for 4 days.

With the last version I had problems with activating the camera by double pressing the power button.
With the new version it seems to be solved.
