did you care to read my previous post? as soon as I changed kernel charging was back to normal. how is that possible on a damaged cable?!

It's working fine now after restarting phone it doest immediately start it takes time to take effect notification all time is annoying
Tap long on notification you can disable it
Well if the notification is too annoying for you then you can use the one if there's one in the ROM.
Otherwise there's no other option.
And if have kept a delay of 10 seconds after the phone boots to apply settings
Otherwise apps like KA and EXKM can override the settings of the App.
3.3 seems to have made delight 8.0 even more buttery smooth.
I had a little moan about your kernel going back ages ago, probably unfairly but it really is making these new Oreo ROMs come to life.
