This kernel is awesome. Thank you Dev! Is there a way to do stereo sound via earpiece? Or does that require separate flash?

There are separate flash zips for that in the apps section, unfortunately as the audio routing is decided by the OS, a kernel cannot decide whether or not to have stereo speakers enabled
If you are on beta 2 you even have the mod ore installed. At least at my end there is a smaller, but still notifable effect.
You could test it out - might need to have a boot.img for ob3 incase you get the qualcomm crash report mode.
And make sure you backup your internal storage in case you need to run the msn download tool.
can confirm that kernel wont work with ob3
tested installation via oneplus updater and recovery flash via fastboot after and installation via twrp directly.. qualcomm was greeting me whole day yesterday
figured out that the kernel was the issue at the end
btw even without kernel installed my settings and the bootup stuff is applied...if that changes anything

I have tried the latest 2.7.3 with OB3 phone boots to qualcom crash dump so I believe kernel needs updating but its the best kernel and would like to run on OB3, thanks to the op, cheers.You could test it out - might need to have a boot.img for ob3 incase you get the qualcomm crash report mode.

sorry to hear that, I flashed the twrp image for OB3 from blu_spark kernel thread, how did you manage to come out of crash dump? cheers
I followed the manual of OB3 update by local upgrade and flashing recovery by fastboot
mindlessly flashed this kernel so got to the crash screen
I just booted into fastboot pushed recovery img rebooted recovery flashed OB3 booted system and then twrp from fastboot, rebooted recovery and flashed magisk
Sources are pushed. Well done OnePlus, quick publishing of the sources is again much welcome.

each boot, i have to launch 'manually' CleanSlate companions apps to get all features working (like FG gesture...)
When i was on stable OOS 5.1.11, i had a 'CleanSlate process' running at boot doing this (displaying a notification), but it's gone now on Pie
