Honestly I'm the wrong person to comment on that... It's smooth all around always as far as I can tell, but I never seem to notice slight differences. But I can say it seems smooth to me 1 through 3.
My thinking is that op8 has more power for the lower resolution screen, while op8pro on 120hz could be starting to sweat when boosting is lower.
I'll think about how to set the default values so we get into the range where either smoothness is nice or if on the lower range of boost you get some more battery life.

I have an idea, for a bit of an extension for face down screen off, a vibration feedback when face down screen off is triggered by the gesture.

I think yes, but I'd try with magisk based install with root using kernel manager / zip based installer method in that case, so that the init process in the boot image is kept intact.

I've been having issues when someone calls me. When I get calls I can't answer because the screen stays black and won't turn on until the call has either ended or I use my bt earbuds to stop the call, any ideas?
Did it happen all the time? Or in any special case?

https://github.com/OnePlusOSS/android_kernel_oneplus_sm8250/issues/3 seems like it's either a stock bug, or a bug with the stock sources published. Let's hope OnePlus will fix it.
