Stock SPP3 boot image if you need to restore

vbmeta of SPP3 to deactivate verity checks on the custom boot image and most probably to do factory reset, DO IT BEFORE FLASHING THE KERNEL, or it won't boot
You can try to deactivate the vbmeta check before the first booting up right after sideloading the OTA spp2, maybe that will let you boot without factory reset after vbmeta verify disabling.

Deactivate, you might need to factory reset if you don't follow the OTA-update/disable-before-first-boot procedure (fastboot -w for factory reset)
Code:
fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta vbmeta-redfin-spp3.210325.010.img

Re-activate if you need:
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta-redfin-spp3.210325.010.img

Hey I'm a little confused, if I already factory reset for dp3 and rooted, do I still need to fastboot the vbmeta or it's ok to just flash ur kernel?

Thanks in advance

Any way you could include the global variant of CleanSlate ???????

I just, just about a moment ago secupwn!
Nah, um, sometimes things just go the way they go for whatever reason. I'm also like WTF! just myself. So,

I just concluded I may be on your band GHz ?!
The kernel sources are common for all regions.
I'm not sure what do I see on the screenshot as security issue and what indicates that it's related to kernel.

I apply the CleanSlate kernel and very much enjoy using the options you introduce. I'm sorta starting to come to an agreement with myself that the boot partition houses the RIL.

Do you remember the HTC DoubleShot 4G slide? with the username k9(??) . Where he was talking about flashing while driving was fun?
I kind of recollect that CyanogenMod was where you had your reach extended. Which is what made me stop 🛑 and ask about how or what the reason was that you chose the CleanSlate as the name of your 'product'. IDK. I don't develop technology or anything. So whatever that would mean to you...

Anyway, I have a Pixel 5 and I'm located in the U.S.A. and the reason I had asked about a global variant being introduced into the kernel is because I'm pretty sure 5ghz is the link here.
If you were able to include some USA. source code into your CS kernel which I'm very grateful for btw. I think that would be helpful. To me, at least, as there are some events and as much as life is and has shadows and dogs and stuff. .... Things just are for whatever the reason may be.

Does this ROM let you use gesture control and have a navigation bar at the same time?

Does it let you switch the position of the back and the recent button?

@tbalden it takes a long time to boot up. It doesn't give you enough time to setup system blur. I've rebooted twice since I flashed it with FKM. it just now rebooted on its own while typing this message. It also said system ui is not working once it booted up.

I haven't tried, but it should work.
You can try the new boot image with or without rooting. But what I'm curious about is whether it works issue free without rooting.
Hi, 1.8.3. works without issues on latest May update, but safety net is again broken on my site.
1.8.4. had a few bugs like system ui not responding or not working speakers.

All without rooting. Just stock rom and your kernel. Should I provide you some logs?
    2
@tbalden Is it ok to flash the May update with 1.8.3 kernel?
Looking at the commits by Google I think yes, it's minor security fixes in the log. I'll update a bit later, for now it could work.
    1
    Which kernel should I flash for Android 12 dp3 Pixel 5 🤔
I've been testing the new sources against that, and there are issues with kdrag0n's Safetynet hack, so I was testing further, but going to release it soon.

Unfortunately the Safetynet won't pass yet on spp3

Edit: removing the release for now, sorry, it causes issues on boots. Please revert to previous version.

    - Update Android R Stable - 1.7.2 -
Add SafetyNet fix + Fingerprint + February images
    - New: special in-built version of @kdrag0n 's SafetyNet fix for keystore fallback
--- baked into the kernel, no Magisk needed to fully pass CTS profile and Basic SN
--- those who have a phone where Hardware attestation now fails, should pass the test with this
--- use the boot image provided and after flashing and first boot do a reboot again, so the fix can work forward on
    - New: add Fingeprint gesture: Stock Swipe Up/Down option (new config app needed!)
--- use normal fp tap for special gestures, and swipes for notification area stock gestures
    - Updating to latest adblocking hosts files from Steven Black/AdAway/yoyo repos

    - Update Android R Stable - 1.7.1 -
December Google security/feature update + Panel idle low power modes
    - December Google update
--- Hooray: Touch screen corner dead zones are now gone with the update
--- Long tap/double tap corner gestures are now working correctly (check in Sweep gestures / Presets)
    - Display configurations for ultra low power saving and physical off
--- (credits, thanks to @kdrag0n for bringing this up on P5), slight sparing
--- (built-into kernel, so stock dtbo/vendor_boot can be kept)
    - Updating to latest adblocking hosts files from Steven Black/AdAway/yoyo repos

    Woo hoo! Were back!
    6
Working on a new version mainly focusing to bring kdrag0ns safetynet fix magisk module for hw attestation to work without magisk baked into the kernel.. so far progress, but it's a bit finicky :)
But after all it works, without magisk
    6
The sources didn't change in the new February patch. I tested and all is fine with the latest version of cleanslate.
