Great news!
What do you mean by the led part? Isn't led working now for notifications?

Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapatalk

The led is working for call notifications, but I think it should be working for other notifications as well, sorry if am wrong, been through a long day, and sorry for late replies.

Yes it should.
Few things: make sure it's not Batter optimized (you can set that in System settings) and also that it's not Hibernated by asus framework (App settings again).
Then also, screen should be off when notification happens. Also some very specific apps might not be listed in the Companion app filter, so you might not get notification detected if it's a more rare/specific app. For messenger, hangouts, android messaging/sms, discord, telegram etc it should generally work. What app is not working?

It's not battery optimized, just checked. Am currently checking the notifications for WhatsApp and gmail, haven't used others. Guess it will sort itself ou, like the led call notification did.

Love the kernel! I like to keep the back LED on breathing because it's awesome. I'm just wondering if there is a way to automatically disable the back LED when the camera app is open, sometimes the light can cause a glare when taking close up pics.
