If you didn't disable Verity and Verification, then you should be only flashing the copy of the kernel that you ran Magisk on. I'm guessing you didn't do that since the filename of the kernel image would be different than that, unless you renamed it.

Flash the stock boot.img and run Magisk on the CleanSlate kernel, then flash the Magisk'd CleanSlate kernel.

Than I copy it back to my computer and flash it
After that I flashes the rest of the files like in the instructions.

Is that ok?

Yes, that's a good way to do it. I also do install it this way if I need magisk on the phone.
Unfortunately I'm unsure what went wrong here.

If you know which Slot (a or b) was active before flashing, check in Bootloader if it didn't switch to the other slot.
If it switched to the other, you might try to switch back and flash stock boot image to boot.

With corrupted data tho the simplest way would be to go to fastboot and reset user data (losing the data unfortunately) with this command:
fastboot -w
Then flash back stock image and boot, to make sure everything is working.

I'm on the phone while my wife is driving so I might've misread your command prompt "log". I thought I saw you flashed the original CleanSlate kernel instead of the proper magisk_patched-23016_ipHwv.img.

Did you flash it over stock partitions or over another kernel? Any magisk modules active?
I'm really sorry to hear that it doesn't work out. I'm doing exactly the same here when testing the compiled kernel.

(If you got the corrupted one, you might want to check in the Bootloader if the Active partitions is still A or B.
After a few bad boots it might switch to the other partitions. After that it might not boot on Stock images either.
You can switch active partitions from fastboot to try and see if it boots then. Or you might indeed need to factory reset/use stock boot image to make it boot again. )

Thank you! I confirm everything went perfectly with this. I did *not* disable Verity and Verification after flashing the full firmware zip. I initially used the rooted stock January kernel and flashed this zip in EXKM, and all went perfectly.

So according to Despair both his and this kernel should work with ProtonAOSP unrooted. Whether or not it will pass SN checks is quite another thing. I will do my backups as best I can and within a couple of days grab my bottle of Jack and install one of them. According to the OPs I do need to flash all those files. Do you suggest cleanslate or despair at this time? I'll read up on both but it does look like Despair is diligently working on some updates. Damn why am I always the guinea pig? A glutton for punishment I presume.

Not wanting to root and leaning towards installing ProtonAOSP myself, were you able to install this kernel without root?

No didn't work. I actually messed up my system and had to dirty flash proton. Then I rooted and installed it but couldn't pass SN.. Back to stock.

non-root method - P6Pro

I got through every step as instructed up until flashing vendor_dlkm

getting the following in command prompt:
FAILED (remote: 'Invalid command resize-logical-partition:vendor_dlkm_b:44453')

I tried manually resizing the partition but unsure if my command is correct or even if I may break something else entirely

Any ideas?

I've noticed an issue, where the "Clean Slate Service" app causes the screen to be stuck at 60Hz.

If I "freeze" the app, the phone normally scales up to 120Hz, or successfully stays at 120Hz if the developmental option is toggled.

I also tested this after doing a fully factory reset (wiping data), on the latest January build, with the Kirisakura kernel.

Any idea how to fix this? As I really enjoy both apps.

I'm using v3.2.12, and here's a screenshot of the info page.

To reflect, that app can't cause such issues, it doesn't interact with the system in any such way.

Please check the installation guide. You should join the beta program on both apps in app store as detailed in the installation guide in the first post. That's an old version which doesn't support this phone model
