We are talking a month max, just hold your horses a bit. Good things are coming for u11+.
Leedroid will finally have an htc with treble aka u12+ and will port his rom for u11+

Hey @tbalden can you add the double tap to wake screen if in landscape mode? My u11+ is in landscape mode on my car's holder but can't wake the screen because of htc weird policy, I remember that some kernel could enable it on previous htc

Just checked on u11 and indeed as shown in the description it is for portrait. Strange that for landscape it's not. That part is handled by non kernel firmware for nanohub, so it's not possible to work around.
Adding it to the ts driver might be consuming more battery, if that would work out, with more wakelocksb needed.

Well I think no for those tricky advertisement engines which channels thru needed hosts of insta and baked in deeper.
They're getting smarter every day to add such

Today I got my 11+, unlocked rooted and flashed kernel over 1.24.401.7.

I noticed a 'problem', fingerprint mode is on 2, but a single tap is mapped as home.
Is this a kernel issue or a my problem?

No, I tested all configs: works all except for '2' that a single tap is mapped as home
