no i didn´t tried as i told, but im 100% sure it won´t run cool on such high values, just try it, play some hard 3d games for a while or make a few benchmark tests and you will see what i mean.

"effective and as efficiently" thats exectly the point, efficiently...
Is it efficiently that you can´t hold your phone anymore ?
Is it efficiently that my old phone with half hardware can run same games lagfree when the mi4c throttles and you can´t even enjoy a 2d game anymore ?
Is it efficiently that the battery burns down twice as fast ?
Im not sure about your definition of efficiently, maybe tell me what you mean.

Every cpu can be tuned up. But what is the limit ? Yes, the heat. Why do you think then is this cpu suitable for tune ups and other not. I would say the contrary.
If the OP is able to increase the performance on same heat or even less heat then the OP is a truly hero.

"I do too dont understand why people buy I fast phone but wanted it to be slower than its specs"
I never said that i like to have slower phones as possible. I like it to to have very fast devices, but if the limit is reached then is the limit reached.

Edit:
Well i will stop now, im sorry for my input was provocatively.
lol .. I dont want to debate on your opinion just base on assumption ... just try it ... if it heats up on benchmark and got throttle it wont get such high score in the first place.

Cool work OP, finally a custom Kernel for this device =).

I didn't test it right now, but i think with 83k Antutu it would heat like a oven after a while.
This soc is extremly vulnerable for overheat.
So probably it's the wrong way to go for hard performance, because after a while of gaming it have to throttle back anyway and that cause bad laggs and make the device useless for gamers or other hard user.
Maybe better focus a stable performance withouth overheat on this device (and other devices with snap 808 and 810).

I don't understand anyway why everyone is that horny for higher antutu values. If you have 60k or 70k antutu won´t make as much difference... Just because of this people who crying about low antutu values devs are lead on a wrong way.

Edit:
Ok well normal user wich don´t play games or other hard stuff would have adventage of high performance (because don't suffer on overheat), but im hopefully not the onliest one wich does more with his phone then facebook, browsing, whats app.. crap.

you talk/post too much..why not try it? for you what is hot?? how HOT is hot?? 60c?? 70c?? you can adjust thermal values to your liking..as far as I'm using it (its my daily phone) I have no issues on heat..it would not be scoring that high if it was heating the whole test..I have one tester who can testify that it does not heat up while running Antutu (not that much heat)..

This is the problem nowadays on XDA..if you share your project you get complains..if you tease users with a high scoring, forever SOT project then they will also complain..also you bought a phone that is high spec'd why would you want it to run on freezing temps??

wasted 2 cents here (XDA always waste my posts, I'm worthless here)

no it wasn't a complain, i really don't wan't troll or offend someone. I'm very happy about your work, it's great someone does this work for a more or less noname device like the Mi4c. I don't even have any plan about Android/Linux. I'm sure it was not easy to bring this Kernel and you did this in your free time so im very respectfully.
I would just share my opinion to make this device good, nothing more.

Before i'm installing new build from RR i will try it (won't leave Nougat for now). Maybe i was wrong then i'm really sorry, but maybe try about 3-5 Benchmark tests behind each other, look if the values stay stable witouth throttle and heating over 55°c.
Just a single Benchmark test doesn´t have sense on this device (and other with snapdragon 808 and 810).

I did not misunderstand you..I carefully read it whole..the thing is, why being so conservative?? yeah qualcomm derped on the SD808 and 810 by bringing in more stupid cores than just optimizing ones they have, right?? but with the introduction of fixes from qualcomm (like Core Control) heating issues and huge battery drains were fixed on these bad mojo SOC's..

About running 3-5 tests consecutively, you and I know what happens next right?? I don't post benches for fun, for my own glory/satisfaction or for anybody here..you're all the ones "misunderstanding" it since on every device thread, when someone posts benches, its like "I'm the highest and mighties and yours is crap" mentality why not just post something your phone can do?? also it just sets a baseline of what the phone can do..If you get a crappy score then something must have gone wrong on your side, right?? if you get all that high scores consistently, means every little thing I put in is helpful right?? Educate yourself by trying it and when your unsatisfied, then just leave..XDA is not for users who are scared than a Cat..its for people who want to go beyond the boundaries OEM's put..I for one did not buy a calculator so why the f*** do I need to underclock?? why do I need to play youtube videos on low brightness to prove that its possible to get 6-10hrs SOT on a specific kernel?? why do I need to use sasquatchamacallit Governors which are just renamed ones when there's already stable ones in there?? why do I have to change Governors everytime I'll do something different?? when it does not depict real-world usage?? (seriously!!??) does real-world usage include changing Governors everytime and rooting plus installing and configuring Xposed??

Pokemon go problem ...
Force close on check items, catch pokemon, fight arena... Everything else like loot pokestops still works.

Just a question.

Could be that your kernel caused those problems on my phone. I tried your kernel on recommanded build and used some time, then i switched back to latest build RR, after some time i noticed those problems. Now i tried a few Roms(clean) and older backups, PoGo won't work anymore.

(Tried almost everything now... change mac, change network, change account, cleared dalvic - cache.) On another phone with same account everything is fine.

It seems other guys with RR same build doesn't have mentioned problems.

Edit:
I added a logcat, the force close should be about 00:28:49.

Edit2:
Nope i got it working. Niantic s fault...
It looks like i was not able to delete all data and cache of pogo in the internal storage, after format internal storage everything works fine again.
