Working fine here with smartass governor, but would like to see 5-10ma usage in idle. Might settle down to that after several reboots and using for a couple days.

Thanks faux123

Seems to be working fine. Although with the "smartass" kernel by dum I'm getting higher benchmark scores when clocked at the same speeds and governor both at 1.7ghz with interactive. I can't get up to 1.8 on any kernel without getting freezes. Seems like my chip will only stay stable at 1.7 I even tried 1.75 and it froze. I like to use the interactive governor. I noticed though I can set it to 1.8 and use the smartass gov without freezes but my phone will still get better benchmark scores (linpack and quadrant) at 1.7 interactive than at 1.8 smartass.

edit.. I was able to get it up to 1.8 max using interactive governor but I had to set the min higher than 246. it seemed to not freeze when my max was set at 1.8 and my min was set at 900mhz(it would freeze with anything lower than 900). Maybe the drastic jump from 246mhz to 1.8ghz has something to do with it? (taking a guess here)

I know not to put too much stock in benchmark scores but what will actually perform better in the really real world? 1.7 with the interactive governor? or 1.8 with the smartass gov? in linpack the scores are pretty big difference. I get around 51-54 at 1.8 smartass and I get 56-59/60 at 1.7 interactive same with quad.. I get around 2600/2700-2900 with smartass the max was around 2600-2700(most of the time lower.. like 2400)

I am using cpu tuner instead of set cpu. I have profiles set up for battery saving purposes

I guess I got lucky with my chip in my phone. I clocked it at MAX 1.84 and put it on performance and ran quadrant 3k... its smooth as butter too. I put it on demand and am liking that.. Might try out smartass but my experience with all my prior phones have been on demand works best for what I want.

When you set it to performance it's running at the max fequenceny so it's not scaling. When I set it to performance and set it to 1.84 and it doesnt freeze either. If I set it to max 1.84 and the min to 900mhz using interactive it doesnt freeze . It will only freeze when I set my min lower than 900mhz when my max is over 1.7. I havent tried ondemand yet. Like I said in my previous post I'm taking a wild guess here that maybe the jump between 246mhx-1.84ghz is too drastic for the interactive governor(since it's performance based) So I'm thinking that it will freeze when it jumps from say the min 246 to the max 1.84.

still trying to stabilize it at 1.8

my phone hates:
ondemand
interactive

smartass works and performance works at 1.8 and 1.84
What are you setting your min to when you try interactive or on demand? Like I said I noticed mine freezed at 1.84 when my min was lower than 900mhz. It didn't freeze when I had it set like that.
