Anyone else noticing sluggishness when coming out of sleep on the newest version of the CFS kernel?

It seems to be lagging on my homescreen a lot more, especially when it's been sleeping for a while. Sometimes apps won't launch immediately and there's a bit of lag time when opening one.

I did not notice this behavior with 2.6.5 or any previous versions. Installing the old 2.5.3 kernel doesn't seem to have the problem, either (though that kernel is useless as wifi is broken on it).
Feels to me as the past few versions of this kernel have been a little weak. I don't know if its because the focus is on a diff phone by the dev or lack of interest. But I been using ck kernel...until.the sensation comes out..#POW

Wi-Fi Error after switching kernels

Hey guys, did some searches and posted in the general Q/A section and haven't had any ideas or help yet so I decided to try here as well since the issue came up after switching kernels.

CM7.03
2.6.32.39-CM-GB-Faux123-v2.5.2-CFS

I was on CM7.03 and had been using the 2.6.5 until I realized the thread said it was only compatible with 2.3.4 ROMs. I had been having some freezing issues here and there and decided to look around.

I wiped cache and dalvik cache and moved to the correct kernel so now my wifi will not toggle and stays with just "Error".

Any thoughts? Reboot / battery pull is no good.

I'm pretty sure if you read the OP it tells you what to do about the wifi problem.

Yeah, look under bugs.

How is this kernel "obselete" if you still use this kernel in your AOSP roms faux? Kinda an oxy moron. Lol. I still love you roms and kernels.
