Dank Kernel is my personally maintained kernel. This kernel is based on stock/aosp and upstreamed with latest linux-stable source. You can use dank kernel on any ROM. AOSP, LOS, Stock. Just boot into bootloader and flash the boot.img and dtbo.img

Thanks for the update, definitely imo running smoother then before..

Did you test also EX kernel by chance? Could you compare them from the smoothness point of view?

I'm using EX and with all due respect do not find any noticeable difference with stock kernel, so was wondering whether Dank is more performance oriented or not.

Thanks!

I have not tested EX kernel yet, but as for Dank vs stock smoothness wise imo it's equal. battery efficiency is better on dank for my usage ( I understand everyone's usage is different) am getting about an hr of extra power..

Hello @stebomurkn420, I'd like to check out the latest release of your kernel.

Starting from stock ROM with TWRP, EX kernel and Magisk, is it OK to just open Franco Kernel app, flash Dank kernel and reboot?

TWRP and Magisk should be retained, right?

Ok, flashing completed successfully from Franco Kernel application, root was retained and I set up my usual parameters inside the app.

Thanks a lot!

I'm not gonna mess with Q until it's full release. So soonish! Lol

That's looking like the boat I'll be in as well. Getting a kernel to work on Q is proving very difficult. I'm not sure what Flar is doing differently but I can't get one that is stable. It's something with the modules I'm sure. I don't feel like rolling back to Pie at this point.

Once Q source drops I'll just be building it in my Rom anyway. I just saw you had Q source on your git so I figured I'd ask.

Would anyone flash the boot.img if I upload it for Android 10? Would you prefer me to include magisk? Lemme know!
