Hello, when new kernel build will be available to flash on other rom? Or how to build kernel myself from source code? Could someone help me? Thanks! I have pretty fast computer, so I could build kernel for myself or others, it wouldn't take long.

Having problems, crashing, when compiled kernel, how to make it flashable trough rashr or twrp?

I was on20170220 build for 2 days and its really good ! for a full charge i got 3h SoT, 2.5h calls and 4h+ music, some casual gaming ( wifi always on) +testing (1d18htotal time) still 10 % left.
It derpt once when i was installing/uninstalling/multitasking, touchscreen was off ( input-reaction didn't match) but reboot fixed it.
Solid ROM + kernel combo ! great job devs !

You have a synaptic touchscreen, so yes, this should be fixed in today's build hopefully.

Yup, it works in the new build. I had to reboot after first boot like @ruolian mentioned though. Great job @Cozzmy13, you're our Mi4c hero as far as I'm concerned

1. Clone my repo.
2. Modify the toolchain path inside "helper" to point to your toolchain
3. Run "./helper compile_clean".
4. Run "./helper gather".
5. Split the boot.img for your ROM.
6. Copy "dt.img" and "kernel" files found inside the "build/YYMMDD-hhmm" folder to the folder where you split the boot.img(overwrite existing ones).
7. Combine your boot.img back.
8. Flash.

If you don't know how to do something, Google it for like hours until you get it. If I babysit your through the process you won't learn much if anything.

Just flashed on XOSP Rom, camera doesn't focus anymore, and the phone gets very hot on minor tasks(~50 degrees Celsius on idle,screen on)

I haven't had time to compile a build with those fixed becuase I've been working with @csolanol on AICP. If you want to use this kernel, use AICP or compile it yourself. I'm really short on time.

There are no "today's changes", haven't updated the compiled kernel.

On the latest AICP build (even older ones), wifi gets disconnected randomly. Today I was able to get a log.

Hi, none of is are experiencing this behavior so it could be related to your router or ap configuration.

That's strange. The issue doesn't happen in MIUI nor on my old Nexus 7 2013 tab.
