is the kernel for AICP 12.1 only? Asking, because I just tried to boot it with slim6 and later with mokee 6.0.1 and neither boots, ie. both don't go past MI logo
This kernel is included on AICP and RR, and for other roms, i think it'll only works with kumajaya's based kernelis the kernel for AICP 12.1 only? Asking, because I just tried to boot it with slim6 and later with mokee 6.0.1 and neither boots, ie. both don't go past MI logo
I remember I was able to boot slim 1.7 with the kernel that's linked in the OP, that's why I'm asking about the compatibility of the latest version. I wasn't surprised to discover it doesn't boot with mokee, but slim6 was said to be compatible with kumajaya's stuffThis kernel is included on AICP and RR, and for other roms, i think it'll only works with kumajaya's based kernel
wait, what? why would you use this kernel on AICP, it is includeda quick report after ~24h running this: the latest kernel works great with 03/30 AICP12.1 build - the system is overall smooth and really battery friendly (for comparison: on any CM13 based rom I'm getting 2-2:30h SoT battery life, yesterday night I ended with 3h30 SoT and still 17% left).
still politely asking for a kernel that's compatible with Marsmallow ROMsI really don't like Nougat's UI "improvements"
sorry, misunderstood that lolas I wrote, I used the kernel released 12/04 with 30/03 ROM, I know it's included in current AICP release, but it was my point to see how it works with AICP release that's stable for me (previous April's ones were not)
No.Are there plans for an overclockable kernel? I would really love to see this!
