This is my second contribution to the Epic 4G Touch Community. My First Contribution was of course my hacked hulu plus app. This is really nothing special. Just a simple repacked FE16 zImage for touchwiz based roms.

Whats inside?
Repacked FD24, FD26, FE07, FE10, FE14,FE16, FE22 Kernel (zImage)
Very Lightly Tweaked
init.d support added (/system/etc/init.d)
Unsecured Stock Recovery (NOT CWM RECOVERY)
USB Mass Storage Set to default

WARNING* ICS CWM RECOVERY IS KNOWN TO BRICK DEVICES. I WONT ADD IT TIL THIS IS FIXED. I DONT WANT ANY NOOBS BRICKING THERE SH** :D

FE22 KERNEL HAS SEVERAL CHANGES OVER THE OLDER FE KERNELS SO THIS KERNEL WAS A WORTH WHILE REPACK :D

Like I said its nothing major. Im still learning alot. I will contribute more as I learn.

I only added this donation to appease my followers. Ive been averaging 12 requests a day for a donation link so here it is. I also want to make it very very clear I develop because it is fun. Not for the money. Im still gonna develop whether or not I get donations :D

WARNING: I AM NOT RESPONIBLE IF YOU BRICK YOUR DEVICE CAUSE OF FLASHING THIS MOD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Directions:
Download Kernel from link provided
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Flash zip inside EL26 CWM Recovery
Reboot
Wait 5 minutes
Reboot Again
Enjoy

Enjoy My Second Contribution.
I do not want any donations at this time. Just plz hit my thanks button if u enjoy my contribution.

Glad to see you branching out and stepping into all areas... I too was following your thread over in General and still am. May I suggest something since so many in here are all about the latest and the greatest. You should also do your tweaks for the latest kernel out FD26. Although it might not be a difference just that number change alone will get people going.

Also will this kernel and hopefully future ones be overclockable/underclockable? These are questions I know are coming.... Great job and thanks again for contributing

Once samsung releases linux kernel source i will add that ability. Unfortunately we are stuck with repacked kernels until source is released.

Thanks for the work man, are you going to be doing the fd26 kernel too? I am running Agat's tFD26_v0.1.0 Odexed. Is this kernel different from the one DataHawg released here? This is what I am running at the moment...

Also, is there any difference between using mobile Odin to go back to the fd02+cwm to flash this or unzipping your pkg and using mobile Odin to insert it?

FD24 and FD26 are the same but just have a different number attached to it i.e FD## so i could do an FD26 the same way but it wouldnt make a difference.

Hey Reactive will this work with AOKP based roms (like Codename) and CM9?

Edit: since there is unsecured recovery, that now means that we are able to flash roms, modems, etc with it. even though it is not recommended lol

I would just do it the majority of people that would try it would probably not understand that there is no difference but do know that one is newer than the other...:D

You know like I know newer is better.. **scratching my head**

Datahawg pulled calks fd24 Kernel from his rom and made it a flashable zip. Mine was all my doing. That is basically the only difference.

Hahaha! wait what about the AOKP roms and CM9? lol
waiting for feedback on your rom with the new update you just put out about an hour ago. if its booting i am sure i will jump on board.
If you want to be that brave soul to test it out for me on cm9 or aokp be my guest. It was only tested on touchwiz roms.

Probably off topic but Does this also mean modems as well? Fd24 and fd26 are pretty close builds so is it possible that the modems are the same?
