I have had 3 reboots now, during call. Phone just dies, red light flashing 3 times and then rebooting. Once a while ago, and nothing since, but now again yesterday and once just now.

How do I go on about looking up the reason behind this? :)

Regards,
if didnt change anything(like adding mod, kernel, new app,) it might be the battery try recharge it to 100% 1st

Regards,

I have the same problem. I experience random restarts especially during calls. The red light blinks 3 times and the phone performs a restart.
It would be very nice if somebody has a solution for this because it's very annoying :(

more information which can help to investigate the issue:

  1. TWRP 3.2.3
  2. Stock rom (1.54) - customised AU (tried with Telenor BG as well)
  3. Green kernel - latest nightly (tried with latest stable)
  4. Magisk 16.7 (tried with 17.1)
  5. Thermal FSC mod
  6. Greenify

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Yesterday 2 calls within 5 minutes - 2 restarts...

Unfortunately I couldn't manage to make normal calls with the problem and I relocked the bootloader.

i moved to last LineageOS 14.1 until it will fixed
GPU performance are 50% less in this ROM
and camera 8MP instead of real 23MP

the rest is better (so far)
CPU apps, GUI, speakers volume ,etc
im trying to flash the same mods

weird because util lately the last version of greenkernel was very stable..
with xposed greenfiy ... maybe its one of the mod ive install. i even change the GUI

I make calls just fine with it. check CPU voltage and increase all big cores by +5mV and test.

it will not be fixed soon, probably ever, this is the best we have for now. its not creating any of those problems for me. reboots are most likely caused by too low voltages since the kernel tries to minimise them.

Thanks i will try it, when ill return to stock. (it just weird, because because it was super stable for few weeks then random reboots ,also while gaming on some apps)
i guess you are right because in linage the voltage is higher

Could you please share with us your CPU voltage configuration? :)

They are very individual so whatever works for me may not work for you. That said, mine are quite high, I've seen people with way lower settings than mine.
Unfortunately, I have changed my device so I can't tell you the exact values. What I can tell you, however, is to increase what you already have by +5 or +10mV and test how stable you are going. It should be enough if the phone is rebooting in only one edge case and that value is small enough not to cause any noticeable impact on battery life and thermals. It does A LOT for stability tho if you are coming from stock which has higher values.
