Thanks a lot for the great work, @flar2 !

Will there be an express.zip-file of the kernel to flash after each OS update so that settings are being kept?
Thanks for your answer! :)

cuz there's no available elementalx kernel for custom pie roms

So this won't be working with LineageOS? Previous versions of ElementalX used to work with Lineage. Why not this one?

Facing white led and black screen issue after updating to Magisk 19.3. Had to uninstall Magisk completely to boot normally. Asked the same in OOS thread and got to know that users with stock kernel had no such issues.
unlocked bootloader
OOS 9.0.2 - OP3T
ElementalX 5.00

Sent from my OnePlus3T using XDA Labs

Same issue. Restored stock kernel, flashed Magisk 9.3 (in recovery), then EX kernel and no issues.

I use elemental kernel manage. Want to know:
Is busybox necessary or preferable for the elemental kernel manager?
(because I have seen that kernel audiuter app search for busybox when opening)

Hello @flar2

Thanks for your great work and support here.

I noticed an issue on the latest kernel v5.00
Upon installation, I selected "no swipe to sleep gestures" in the aroma installer.

Despite that, the default "swipe to left in the nav bar area to sleep" remains active! Tried many times to reinstall...

This is particularly annoying when navigating between projects in Tasker, I often unintentionally put the phone to sleep...

I remember someone mentioning here a similar issue with the I/O scheduler in kernel v5.00.

Probably a root cause to both issues?
(Although I/O scheduler is tunable with the manager app, this is not the case with swipe-to-sleep)

Thanks in advance for your help

He mentioned that the settings chosen in the Aroma installer aren't necessarily considered when flashing the kernel. I suppose that is the reason.

It's written in the managing app (if you use EX kernel manager)
"These settings do not stick"

Same to me, I also am experiencing the same problem, 'sleep', as I also selected "no swipe to sleep gestures" in the aroma installer.

You should only flash ElementalX over the kernel that came with your ROM!!!

EX Kernel Manager can be used to configure settings and update or install the kernel quickly and easily.

You can also use my free app Button Mapper to configure the navigation buttons.
