@flar2, does editing the file sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge simply set USB fast charging on? Sounds like a dumb question, but thought I'd ask it before changing something I shouldn't. Thanks man!

Another user reported this, it had something to do with bad gapps install.

Nothing has changed on my end and there's nothing I can do, the problem is on the Google side.
Cool! More than likely, newer versions of those gapps and the rom should fix this. If not, I don't mind editing files for the gestures. Thanks!

If you have a problem with EX Kernel Manager stuck at license check:

Install a different version of GAPPS if you have this problem. It's NOT a problem on my end, there is nothing I can do, so stop giving me one-star ratings and angry emails.

Do not install pirated versions of EXKM to circumvent this problem, install a different version of GAPPS. Pirated apks contain malware, do not install them ever, not even just to test.

Yes and no. The app runs fine on all rooted phones, but some of the adjustments only work with the EX kernel. And the kernel can only be installed on some roms. Try searching this thread for the rom that you use.
lol iam already on this kernel.

NitrogenOS 8.1 latest patched
Elementalx kernel
Magisk rooted

just wanted to know if the app is fully functional on nexus 6

hi i wanted to ask that ex kernel app fully supports Nexus 6 shamu right ?

function of kernel apps are not device but ROM/OS related. the kernel app can only tweak parameters that are available in the kernel and
then the EX kernel does not boot on LOS based roms, only AOSP based roms, exceptions may pop up any time but not very probable at this stage of the API life cycle.

The app is fully functional on any rooted device. The options that appear depend on what is available from the kernel installed (e.g. wake gesture options only appear if the currently installed kernel supports them)

version is xkernel 5.22
and iam specifically looking for like for example N6 is quad core, i would like to set it to disable 1 core when dropping below 50% battery and disabling 2 cores when dropping below 40% battery also I would like to set the cpu speed according to that . i hope it does .

I don't think any kernel has such functionality by itself. And the app is only designed to tweak the kernel's settings.

Look at this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/mod-disable-throttling-battery-low-t3440814
The stock rom seems to have such functionality. The thread talks about how to disable it to get full speed all the time, but it may also teach you to do the opposite. You'll have to check whether the same functionality is present in your rom.

You might also try an app like Tasker. Though it will probably take some learning before you get it right.

Update, I flashed the new LineageOS build with new open gapps and all is well. Works great!

Stuck at Lineage boot logo

Fresh install of 07/03/2018 Linage on Nexus 6 (Shamu)
Enabled root
Installed EX Manager app
Installed ElementalX 5.21 (default download from EX Manager)
Phone boots into TWRP
Aroma options come up, and I select all the default options.
Phone reboots, no pin request, lineage boot logo just goes and goes... gave it 10 minutes

Anyone else?

    Installation

    1. Flash in recovery

    For maximum compatibility with all ROMs, ElementalX uses your existing ramdisk.
    Do NOT flash this over other custom kernels!
    You should only flash ElementalX over the kernel that came with your ROM!!!

    Sweep2wake:
    disable = 0
    sweep right = 1
    sweep left = 2
    sweep up = 4
    sweep down = 8

    Add them together. For example, to enable sweep2wake in every direction:
    echo 15 > /sys/android_touch/sweep2wake

    Sweep2sleep:
    disable = 0
    sweep right = 1
    sweep left = 2
    sweep left or right = 3

    eg: enable sweep2sleep left
    echo 2 > /sys/android_touch/sweep2sleep

    Doubletap2wake:
    enable = 1
    disable = 0

    eg: enable doubletap2wake:
    echo 1 > /sys/android_touch/doubletap2wake

    Update!!!

    -Add camera launch gesture, activated by swiping down when the screen is off. For this to work, you must have "Press power button twice for camera" enabled in settings. All the same caveats as other wake gestures apply to this feature.

    -Fix reboot if wake gesture is enabled and screen times out right after boot

    -Prevent BCL driver from hotplugging (I think this will fix the third and fourth cores coming back online with performance gov)

    -Fix elementalx.conf, it wasn't saving properly for use with express version (express version wasn't keeping settings)

    Download:
    ElementalX-N6-3.08

    Changes:
    -add camera launch gesture
    -improve stability
    -stop BCL hotplug
    -fix elementalx.conf/express version

    Update!!!

    I have removed the enforcing option from the installer. Selinux is enforcing by default, just as it was before. Removing this option will allow you to use setenforce again. There is no reason to run in permissive mode, but if you must, then use the permissive.zip found here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952602503

    Download:
    ElementalX-N6-3.10

    Changes:
    -remove enforcing option (use permissive.zip if necessary)
    -increase default input boost time
