My build is on the March one as that's the latest security patch.
Then there's only one way to find out I reckon. At worst, it just won't boot up. Still should be fine though since the last source code from google was in December.

Back up the kernel your currently using, then just flash it again in twrp or through the EXKM app. Or, just dirty flash your rom again :good:
Thank you! It worked.
Let's hope the kernel gives me better battery life on my Nexus 6P :good:
Not all that likely since your 6p battery is probably degrading rapidly. Unless you've replaced it of course.
No, you cant use kernel for pixel phones on 6P for pie rom. To use it you must be on oreo romI've noticed there is an ElementalX kernel for Android 9 for the Google Pixel phones. Can anyone advise if that's OK to use on the Nexux 6P? Or if the latest kernel for the 6P, meant for 8.1, is OK to use if I've installed the Pixel Experience ROM? Thanks
Hi @flar2
I have a lot of these issues on my logcat:
linux_qmi_qmux_io_wake_lock: Err in writing wakelock=qmuxd_port_wl_0, error [1: Operation not permitted]
linux_qmi_qmux_io_wake_unlock: Err in writing wakelock=qmuxd_port_wl_0, error [1: Operation not permitted]
could you solve them and update accordingly elementalx kernel for Nexus 6P, please?
I found a solution, but this work for Nexus 5X only https://android.googlesource.com/device/lge/bullhead/+/95aa2b4e2d6c26ee1b37241bc22ec32a6382d3fb^!/
don't forget to back up boot.img before flashing custom kernel
