I checked the phone details i remember to saw a word Froyo, so i knew it was on froyo, never used froyo before or GB, i couldnt tell the difference....the version was 2.3.X something cant remember and it check because it cant boot....is this serious!??:(

I think it cant go to stock recovery too, if i press vol+, vl- and power it boot to Samsang logo and off and again and when release it stuck on the logo....what im i doing wrong?
"Can be flashed on Samsung ROMs and AOSP Based ROMS. Currently all Samsung 2.3.4, 2.3.5, 2.3.6, 2.3.7 based ROMS, CM7 and MIUI ROMS are supported. Based on linux kernel 2.6.35.14 + drivers from Samsung sources"

This kernel should work on stock Gingerbread. 2.3.X, as you said, should be gingerbread. 2.3.4 is what our phone officially released with. If you can't get into clockwork recovery mode (Vol Up, and Down, plus power), then you will have to try putting it in download mode (Vol UP, plus power - while plugged into Computer via USB). From there, try reflashing this kernel, or any rooted stock kernel, or original stock kernel again (if you want to give up). If you flashed the kernel using odin CORRECTLY, then you should be able to get into ClockWork Recovery Mode, and from there you'd want to clear cache. Should reboot fine after that. If it doesn't clear data too and then it'll definitely work.

Before you start flashing anything I would advise you to read all the stickies and informational threads here. The last thing I want is to see someone brick their device. It's a lot of information, but you should take the time to read it. As I said, our device never ran on Froyo.
I did read thread regarding flashing CWM and many pointed out to flash custom kernel that why i did install this kernel.
The phone was rooted before. I dont know who rooted the phone but the person did not flash CWM, my intention was not to root but to have custom recovery so i flashed this kernel and stuck, that all i did.

Thanks mate,
when i try CWR, the samsung logo goes off and on looping and no recovery.
Download mode works, i tried reflashing this kernel with odin v1.85 and also v 3.04 but with no luck, all flashing are successful without error. :crying:
Still same boot stuck.
Can you please provide me with rooted stock kernel link:eek:

Are you holding the buttons in long enough? Pretty much every person who says they can't get into recovery only holds the buttons for a short while. Hold volume up, down and power in until you get the recovery screen. Don't let go until you see it. Don't let go on a reboot of the Samsung logo.
