"Can be flashed on Samsung ROMs and AOSP Based ROMS. Currently all Samsung 2.3.4, 2.3.5, 2.3.6, 2.3.7 based ROMS, CM7 and MIUI ROMS are supported. Based on linux kernel 2.6.35.14 + drivers from Samsung sources"I checked the phone details i remember to saw a word Froyo, so i knew it was on froyo, never used froyo before or GB, i couldnt tell the difference....the version was 2.3.X something cant remember and it check because it cant boot....is this serious!??
I think it cant go to stock recovery too, if i press vol+, vl- and power it boot to Samsang logo and off and again and when release it stuck on the logo....what im i doing wrong?![]()
This kernel should work on stock Gingerbread. 2.3.X, as you said, should be gingerbread. 2.3.4 is what our phone officially released with. If you can't get into clockwork recovery mode (Vol Up, and Down, plus power), then you will have to try putting it in download mode (Vol UP, plus power - while plugged into Computer via USB). From there, try reflashing this kernel, or any rooted stock kernel, or original stock kernel again (if you want to give up). If you flashed the kernel using odin CORRECTLY, then you should be able to get into ClockWork Recovery Mode, and from there you'd want to clear cache. Should reboot fine after that. If it doesn't clear data too and then it'll definitely work.
