The battery using this kernel got a noticeable improvement! I think I got about 1h sot more with this kernel after configuring it
And my screen off drain went from 1.6% to 0.4% which is awesome!
Thank you very much
(Btw do anyone know what the battery-sec-monitor wake lock is for please?)
Good to hear that👍

Magisk Hide option has stopped working after upgrading from 1.4 to 1.5
Install new app, older will never run again. So v23 cant be in use after installed v23.1 - magisk some disable for it.

Hey, I installed v1.5, installed the new Magisk apk and updated to 23012 but I can't pass SafetyNet, do you have any idea please?
I also enabled the Zygote thing and ticked the "override" thing to enable some other apps (I enabled Play Services)
I use Viper4Android, Busybox and Systemless host modules

Using the safety net app I have
Safety Net Request: Success
Response Validation Signature: Success
Basic Integrity: Success
CTS Profile match: fail

In my case, SafetyNet check fails too. I think, we should wait for a simple solution. However, it looks like it's not critical for apps I'm using. A stable kernel like this particular one is more important.

Yep, also using the non-updated magisk from the Kernel it keeps asking me to finish the installation step and reboot when I launch it.
By enabling play services "gms" and "gms.unstable" in Zygote I got the first part of SafetyNet to pass but not CTS

It also says that my phone is a G981N for some reasons

As You see on mine works well with 23.1. In attach settings in magisk. And module...only safetynet fix v2.0.0 edzamber (riru, etc. are absent) Googleplay services in hide.

I have one more unpleasant issue with the Kernel. My phone randomly restarts 1-2 times a day. However, it doen't seem to be a full restart when you see all those messages about unlocked bootloader and custom ROM warning, it makes quick reboots to the SAMSUNG prompt.

I dont know, I dont have this issue and my testers team too.
Maybe some magisk mod or another app for auto optimize system,...

Too much UV in POWER section, maybe too much OC, idk. | try reset ttwekas data in app - Restore app settings.

Yes, it can be anything. Most probably, this is an incompatible old application or a hardware issue. Even phone cases can cause quick restarts.

Same issue here, it's not annoying at all, it only happened when my phone was locked
I'm using V4A, Busybox, Magisk Hide Props and Power save CPU kernel mode

I have no V4A anad Power Save. Actually, my phone configuration is rather lite. It's possible that Magisk can make a quick restart. Moreover, static electricity may produce a similar effect. People on the Web say there can be some hardware issues too, including an exotic issue related to a phone protection case. In other words, I cannot say that the Kernel version causes this problem.

After few weeks of use I am getting an astonishing 7 hours of screen on time! It's crazy good for an Exynos base S20! Thank you so much for this kernel
I was getting 5 hours of screen on time before

I am using Bluetooth connected to a watch
120hz fhd+
power save cpu governor
My phone is debloated
My usage is like 10% gaming 90% Reddit, Discord, web browsing etc
The idle battery drain is high because I'm often listening to music while my phone is locked

So very good...congrats. You even heavy use the phone so is very nice.

Btw... in new version (now in test) Ive added possibility for set devfreq MIF frequency settings so we can drop down from max 2730MHz to e.g. 2288MHz and this gives less battery drain too... so will be better 😀

    1. Can I ask why ur default settings disabled powerefficient workqueues?

    2. Can I ask rationale for sched_util governor as default, as opposed to energy_step?

2a. Why kernel.sh default shows sched_util, but fresh install of thundertweaks shows energy_step by default? (see screenshot)

    3. I posted a screenshot of my kernel.sh. Can help verify that this is indeed your default settings that get u the awesome battery life u are experiencing?

    4. Was thundertweaks automatically installed as a system app? Or after flashing u manually went to the zip file, look for thundertweaks apk and install as user app? Could this have an impact on settings persistence?(Just trying to troubleshoot stuff in previous post)

    5. After installing fresh default thundertweaks, is is necesscary to apply on boot every category if I don't change any of the settings? (sorry if this is a beginner questions, but I'm just drilling down to fundamentals in my troubleshooting process)

To my untrained eye there's more to optimize, but just curious about ur rationale for choosing these settings

    --

I also notice u use Franco kernel manager together with thundertweaks. Do they clash?
Ad 1 bcose stock kernel has not and mine too..you can turn on in ttweaks or kefnel.sh
Ad 2 bcose is not good optimized for samsung ems energy system and energy step gives me best battery and perf then schedutil.
Ad 2a # in line means do not run this line so you see is not in use any schedutil lines
Ad 3 try and do it your self, read uncle google
Ad 4 on S20 N20 is install auto, if not so you can use ttweaks from zip or TS News Channel no matter is system or user app
Ad 5 after instal if you dont change anything so no sense select apply on boot. Only if you change something.

Franco i have only for look which settings are in STune section. I dont use it for any settings.
    1
so it's this better than the stock kernel? I don't get it....
for me it is - more settings and less battery drain....

but another users can give some feedback here about it...

Thanks, I'll install it when BeyondROM will be released, I hope this kernel it's compatible with this ROM...
    1
Solved by flashing the safetynet fix by kdrag0n. However, I still have stability issues and overheating on my device since I've flashed this kernel :(
All is good... for me, back to stock then.

Some users from TS group uses BeyondRom and TS kernel and gives feedbecks about very good combo it is.

Default CPUs are not overclocked - only is possibility in ThunderTweaks app.
Looks like some process makes CPUs on higier freq.

No screenshots from You only some words ...so I can't help.

How cpus wroking - like mine below picture, etc.
