Hi Flar,
I unlocked my bl again last week and in the proces of customizing, i installed your kernel+manager app (again :)👍)

I was wondering if i should turn of OP's RAMboost when using tour kernel?
In other words: did you intend your kernel operating in conjunction with OP's RAMboost function switched on, could there be conflicts?

I don't change memory management, so it's your choice

What a mess. I tried to build three OnePlus kernels today (OP7,OP8 and OPN) and all three are broken beyond belief. I am so tired of wasting my days and nights on broken source code. I will try to support my existing OnePlus phones, but I will never buy another OnePlus phone again.

ElementalX-OP7-3.01 brakes proximity on OP7 none pro model. Even after changing permissions on /dev/input/event9 which is what kirisakura and blu_spark do, proximity sensor stays disabled. Any chance we might see a fix in the next release @flar2?

ElementalX breaks nothing. You probably need to change permissions on a different input device for ElementalX because I add more input devices for the wake gestures.

The following command should give a clue to which device it is
cat /sys/class/input/input*/name

ElementalX-OP7-3.01 is currently the fastest kernel on OP7Pro for me (OOS11 w/ stock EXT4 file system) thanks to the adjustable "GPU boost" setting in EXKM. Compared to the other custom kernel available for this phone on OOS11, ElementalX gets +10000 (+5%) in Antutu for GPU benchmark when using high GPU boost. My very subjective, possibly placebo opinion is that animations and scrolling are the smoothest with ElementalX.

ZRAM is turned off by default and cannot be turned back on in EXKM for me, although I don't nescessarily need it. Flashing another kernel restores ZRAM.

Proximity sensor works fine on OP7Pro.

There is a vibration setting on the 7 Pro.

You can backup and restore kernels with EX Kernel Manager, it's very easy

You don't need to reflash Magisk after installing or restoring a backup.
Everything I needed to know, thank you. Already bought your app. Looking forward to trying it

Thank you! Took some time to figure out, but after poking around I found out that proximity has moved to event11 with elementalX. Changed permissions and boom, proximity is working again!

Thank you flar2, ElementalX-OP7-3.01 kernel downloaded and installed via EXKM is running smoothly on my OP7Pro with OOS 11.

I'm on OP7 Pro with OOS Android 11 and ElementalX-OP7-3.02. Vibration strength is in miscellaneous section of EXKM for me:
Mine on the android 10 - ex 2.17 kernel
