Man. I'm not using this kernel currently as I'm now using the Open beta-1 build. I am using the EXKM app though.... But I just wanna say, I can't wait to use this in official 9.0 because Android Pie OOS is absolutely fantastic! With this kernel it will literally be the best thing ever.
Keep it up flar2, you're doing all the best stuff!

Hi all , bad Q : its work with android 9 ?

sorry bad english , so can't read all of the comments

Dude, I don't want to be toxic, but are you even aware of what you are doing?
You're trying to run a kernel which is based on Android 8 under Android 9. Many things might have been changed with this major upgrade of Android regarding the kernel. So it should be very clear - even for non-tekki people that you will run into problems... And this thread is not for tinkering with those experiments.
flar2 even stated that this kernel is for 'OxygenOS/Stock-based ROMs(Android 8.1.0)'. --> You want support? You'll get it here quickly. But not for usage on: custom roms, heavily modified roms, different android versions or for flashing it on the main-system of the Death Star (Vader would be very angry, believe me...). :cowboy:

there is no such thing like "i just asked"

you asked means that you asked, you can let the "i just" away, it contains an excuse and it containts "i know but i want" = lack of ego-control

further there is no such thing like just asking a stupid question, it remains a stupid question, adding "i just" does not change that.

further you are obviously not aware that each post attracts dozens or hundreds of followers to call up the page and read what's new or whether it's possible to contribute.

since this is not a chat-room it's very annoying to come here to read and find non-sense and/or chatter.

also it does not matter whether you want to learn or not, facts remain the same, no matter whether you wanna hear them or not.

this is a developer thread, hence adopt to the level of that and to the level of the software at hands. there are many enough chatrooms and games to play, no need to do that here.

this i wrote not because of your question by the way, but because of your reply to someone who kindly and correctly tried to get you on track and you refused.

Thank you for writing this :) there's nothing more to add.

For the new and inexperienced users: Please understand that we are here to discuss things, test and talk about it. There's no problem in asking your questions here. But before you do so, please 'carefully' read the first 1 - 3 posts of the OP. 86,92% of the asked questions can be answered by yourself then.
If you've trouble understanding English, use multiple translation services or Google basic things to learn them.
We're no bad persons here, but XDA remains an open developer forum. We will help out each other here, but you have to have at least some basic knowledge about all the stuff here (which can be learned quite differently).
This may sound harsh, but it's not meant to be.

I've been experimenting with dynamic stune boost from @joshuous with good results. Seems to be some improvement in battery. If you want to try it, I've put all the necessary settings into one place in the latest version of EX Kernel Manager (version 3.56 and later).

Go to the CPU screen and select "Boost Settings" to open the Boost Settings screen
    -Disable MSM Touchboost
-Change Dynamic stune boost to 15 (or somewhere between 10 and 20)
-Set all Input boost frequencies to 0 MHz (i.e. disabled)
-Change Input boost milliseconds to 1500 (might be unecessary, feel free to experiment)

I bought this phone and the 6T, and the OP5 and OP3 myself. OnePlus only gave me the 3T and 5T. As long as people keep buying my apps, I will buy the OP7.

This version also allows separate settings for vibration for notifications and taps. I prefer the tap vibration to be very low so it's not so noisy when typing, but I still want notifications to vibrate strongly. Also requires latest EXKM

    Download (OxygenOS Android 8.1.0):
    ElementalX-1.04.zip

    Changes:

-remove annoying warning on device start
-add separate tunables for tap and notification vibration
    -add Dynamic Stune Boost
