Use Kernel Adiutor and lower the frequency using the CPU tab. I lowered mine to 2295MHz and it works great. Thanks! I'll search and figure out how to do that. It has been a while.

Thanks, that's exactly what I did and it is fantastic so far.Use Kernel Adiutor and lower the frequency using the CPU tab. I lowered mine to 2295MHz and it works great.
Agreed. I tend to take the view that the few percent speed boost isn't worth the downsides or even noticeable in daily use. The guys who designed it probably under clocked it for a reason ...Thanks, that's exactly what I did and it is fantastic so far.
dont forget gfix=1 :fingers-crossed::good:That's a good point. I am really enjoying this tablet. I had one previously and I broke it, then I went back to my Galaxy Tab S. I just got a new Nexus 9 and man I forgot how great this thing is. A little slower clock speed might give me some extra battery life too, which is always good!
Gonna have to search some more, not sure what you meandont forget gfix=1 :fingers-crossed::good:
Thanks man, I'll give your update a shot right now.K10.3.1
-| Linux: 3.10.102
-| latest: form google
-| some: ksm updates
switched to linaro's gcc
Finally we got an linux update! About time... :good:
I am looking for some people to test, to see if i can fix that Pure Nexus battery problem
so i dont need to keep supporting a separate version for it.
P.S. I'm a free man! Cheers! (Summer break)

I've got PN. Should I be testing FIRE-ICE K10.3.1 or Pure Nexus K10.3.1 or are you going to put out a separate test version.K10.3.1

I think I'll do that@USBhost I seem to remember that just before you brought out the Pure Nexus version of the kernel, not everyone using Fire-ice was seeing battery problems on PN - I certainly wasn't - however count me in as a guinea pig just the same. Next version of PN is a ground-up rebase, so I'll hang off testing till then.
Yes...is quick charging enabled on this kenel?
Beef, putting a custom rom and kernel on for my friend's Nexus 9. Will give this a whirl! Try something other than EX.Yes...
P.S i was the one who made it (for the Nexus 9)
Perhaps you should provide some logcat information for the dev...Dear @USBhost ! Unfortunately your kernel makes my tab unusable as on CM as well on stock. Constant freezes and dead freezes make me sad and mad
@uzi2 I've yet provided some logcat for USBhost. But there's no any successful solution. I think , problem is in my devicePerhaps you should provide some logcat information for the dev...
I've not tried this kernel with CM, but stock and Pure Nexus work really well. I've not had any freezes, even with CPU and GPU set to max.
