I lose root after flashing K10.3.1 to latest Pure Nexus rom. I flashed PN again to revert back to stock kernel to fix it.

I think that I have similar problem with running out of RAM. But I haven't installed any launcher and my tab can run only two or three apps at the same time. I think problem is in lmk but it's not in lmk

Reflashing Supersu worked. Kernel runs great on PN. Thanks!

I found the error why this version fixes a problem with the battery did not work. You're placed healthd file in the directory "setup/sbin ". But when you copy it under the condition you take it from the "setup" directory.
You have in the set.sh "cp ../setup/healthd sbin/healthd"
and should be "cp ../setup/sbin/healthd sbin/healthd"

@uzi2 I've yet provided some logcat for USBhost. But there's no any successful solution. I think , problem is in my device

Yup.. my device is very sensitive to heat and memory usage. I can't run anything past k9.5. Especially using Chrome (Chrome sucks for resource management).

As you know CPUs are built with varying tolerances, but they all have to test and run within stock specifications. Us guys who root and flash custom ROMs and kernels, push those limits and tolerances. My N9 can't handle much, just luck of the draw.

I like this kernel and the dev is way on it, so I just run older versions.

Ha ha! I know, but it's my device not your kernel. I have the same issues on other kernels.
My device is, just, sensitive. Lol

hmm you must of had a bad download.
i re-uploaded it if it was my fault.

try it again if you can :fingers-crossed:

yes if you flash the boot.img from Pure Nexus!
it just needs a clean stock PN ramdisk to work right.

Edit: done the boot.img on this post is Pure Nexus boot image

But the boot.img is installed when I flash the ROM anyway, right? Why put it up for download?

i just added it just in case you did not want to flash the ROM again.
but then again you would have to flash supersu to... but o well do what you think is easier

I'm also testing the latest upload, after flashing the PureNexus boot image first. So far all seems well, and I'll give an update tomorrow.

FYI when I flashed the first test version my wifi wouldn't work either, but it's fine now. Appreciate your work on this kernel!
