Hi
I updated to latest version of the kernel because I wanted selinux to be be permissive but every time I check the status its still disabled. I've tried various terminal commands too but it always says disabled or the the directory for selinux doesn't exist.
Can't tell what I'm missing, how do I enable it? Running pure nexus ROM for nexus 9 if that's any help.
Cheers :)
FIRE-ICE does not disable selinux anymore since a while ago.
Can you give me the out put of "cat /proc/cmdline"

Says permission denied. My system seems to be a bit strange. The sellinux folder in sys/fs/ has nothing in it and usual command lines to enable and disable selinux don't seem to work.

As far as I'm aware its fully rooted, according to rootcheck at least. Rootcheck actually says selinux is enforcing but settings say its disabled. I'll attach some screenshots.

I'm also on PureNexus and Fire-ice, SELinux is permissive by default for me. Use kernel adiutor mod to set it

Cheers, yeah I have kernel auditor but there's no selinux option and I can't find any way to add it. Maybe I'm missing something or its under a different name? I feel like I must be missing something very vital somewhere lol, all the usual solutions concerning selinux don't seem to work. Could it be the purenexus ROM? I thought the kernel controlled selinux though

Still getting occasional sound breakup - on latest PN, otherwise OK
But did your sound improve like it was in 7.0/7.1.0
Mine faces a terrible wakelock with tmp_lock. Device cant sleep anymore. Please help!
What ROM are you using?

After a reboot and after the led lights turns on and off (about 1 minute after boot)
Give me the output of "dmesg".

Dnipro
here's another test version.

im just testing fab update to make sure it fixed the past gpu problems.

about the K10.5.11 change log... i got lazy...
the next change log will be for both 11 and 12
Thnx! Grabbing it! :highfive:

And also I've want to suggest maybe try to combine some great stuff of other great kernel devs.
How about adding ElementalX and Sublime Active cpu governors from corresponding kernels? Last one by the way recently got some interesting CPU Quiet governor called "Touch".
And of course this is just a suggestion and all the credits goes to the their respective owners!

Gov-Tuner 3.9.1 and blu_active balanced profile alongside with some main tweaks from L-Speed mod is my favorite setup by far. :good:

I rather not take some of CPU governors that make those kernels there own kernel.
I will ask them if it's OK with them. It just doesn't feel right taking all there hard work and just put it in mine.

PS. I'm out from tonight to Sunday late. If I don't respond in a timely manner that's why.
